Doubtful. It unfortunately seems to be a bit forgotten by many. Seeing how hard it was to get RE2 remade, and now everyone is talking about RE3 and 4 remakes, I doubt they will even give RECV a second thought.

Well in Revelations 2, she ONLY says that in the English dub. The original Japanese version is just "guns are reliable". Not sure if it's the case here as well though but considering Raccoon City and her pretty much alone for most of it, her guns were definitely the most reliable thing at the time.

This game is such a masterpiece. I have both the original dreamcast and PS2 ver . When the DC one came out, i was glued to my screen. Tyrant wrecked me so hard the first time I played, so seeing you destroy him with grenade rounds and BOW gas is amazing.
I remember being blown away by this game when I first watched it being played at a Babbage's game store. Juat the fact that the camera moved and followed you a bit was shocking lol. Ah... Simpler times back then. Dreamcast was an awesome console.

@Zulfikar Rangkuti for the first fight use the T100P you only need 50% of the magazine to beat the Tyrant and probably a few extra handgun bullets, in the second fight use the grenade launcher with Fire rounds and explosive crossbows with around 15 shots you can activate the catapult and defeat the Tyrant you will have more than enough handgun bullets when you finish disc one if you the 50% T100P instead while you are playing in the island as Claire.

I recently completed Code Veronica on PS4, the one game from the old ones I didn't play, and I thought it was great. Really old, classic RE. But it's funny how implausible the story is, I can't imagine how they would remake it. The last part is funny: it's an artic military station, part laboratory, part fancy mansion.
i liked it better in the original. looks too fancy in x, like he just came from a styling salon, considering his personality type and his situation, it doesn't really fit in x.

Oh wow, our stories are similar! I started with RE2 tho when I was 10.. I think 2 is my favorite, I haven’t even played the original (I had directors cut) since the REmake came out for it, I really like REmake. I do really like code Veronica, as a matter of fact my young self saved and saved allowance to literally buy a Dreamcast just for this game lol I’d say may list would be 2, REmake, then 3 and CVX are a tie for me.
I beat this game a few times but I really didn't appreciate it for the great game it is until recently. I was so into the classic re1-re3 fixed camera and style of gameplay that this felt too different. I look forward to knowing this game's ins and outs like I know the older games in the series. Resident Evil CV was one of my favourites, nice to see it played here again and played properly. Kudos for using the DC version too, never got to see the original because I played on PS2.

Honestly, I’ve been playing CV recently on my Xbox recently and out of all of the RE games I’ve played, this one so far has been my favorite. It’s been providing me with a good challenge so far and the only real annoyance I’ve came across was the gas chamber with the piano roll (but even then that was just a minor hiccup on my part for panicking too much and holding the run button when I didn’t need to). Plus I honestly can say that I don’t feel like I’m being overwhelmed with ammo and healing items like I do in the more modern RE games. I just feel like it was the game made for me. Quick edit: Idk why but for the most part when it comes to the bandersnatches I’m usually able to outrun their attacks, and sometimes there are moments where it felt like their attack should have landed but didn’t. I don’t know what causes this but it’s something I wanted to note.
Good Run. I'm sure knocking back Monster Steve and avoiding those bugs around Alexia nesting area has been causing you problems. This is still one off the best DC games made best to see Complete running on VGA HD.

Well, if you had a TV that could run stupid high contrast rather than brightness it became okay again. Main issue was that most had to turn up brightness which resulted in a complete wash-out. I will never understand why they made it so damn dark.
hmmm... Just realized something after all these years. Maybe my memory isn't so good, but Claire broke into the facility looking for Chris? Why? She easily calls him up via e-mail a little into the game, doesn't she? She knew how/where to find him. She didn't find him after the break-in. She was captured during it. Only 4 minutes into the video and just thought of that. Maybe, it's Leon she e-mails? I shall soon see.
Code veronica one of if not the best RE games in my opinion. (I already know what y'all are gonna say RE2 is best) this is my opinion. This game is amazing.
It's a far better game than RE2 imo; much more polished, better story, scenario, more challenging etc. RE2 has a lot of game modes and a ton of nostalgia going on for it, but spending pretty much half of the game on that goddamn boring police department ( which surprisingly looks just like a mansion...) it's not a very fun or engaging experience.

Resident Evil CV was one of my favourites, nice to see it played here again and played properly. Kudos for using the DC version too, never got to see the original because I played on PS2.

I alway thought that the best platform for this game was the game cube version. Personal preference but i like the wave bird controller.

I still have this game for my friend Cast this was really fun I remember the rumble pack and the little display card you would put in the controller that would show the heartbeat of her LOL I should turn on my dream cast to see if it still works
Honestly, I’ve been playing CV recently on my Xbox recently and out of all of the RE games I’ve played, this one so far has been my favorite. It’s been providing me with a good challenge so far and the only real annoyance I’ve came across was the gas chamber with the piano roll (but even then that was just a minor hiccup on my part for panicking too much and holding the run button when I didn’t need to). Plus I honestly can say that I don’t feel like I’m being overwhelmed with ammo and healing items like I do in the more modern RE games. I just feel like it was the game made for me.
Quick edit: Idk why but for the most part when it comes to the bandersnatches I’m usually able to outrun their attacks, and sometimes there are moments where it felt like their attack should have landed but didn’t. I don’t know what causes this but it’s something I wanted to note.
Good Run. I'm sure knocking back Monster Steve and avoiding those bugs around Alexia nesting area has been causing you problems. This is still one off the best DC games made best to see Complete running on VGA HD.

Well, if you had a TV that could run stupid high contrast rather than brightness it became okay again. Main issue was that most had to turn up brightness which resulted in a complete wash-out.
I will never understand why they made it so damn dark.
hmmm... Just realized something after all these years. Maybe my memory isn't so good, but Claire broke into the facility looking for Chris? Why? She easily calls him up via e-mail a little into the game, doesn't she? She knew how/where to find him. She didn't find him after the break-in. She was captured during it. Only 4 minutes into the video and just thought of that. Maybe, it's Leon she e-mails? I shall soon see.

Code veronica one of if not the best RE games in my opinion. (I already know what y'all are gonna say RE2 is best) this is my opinion. This game is amazing.

It's a far better game than RE2 imo; much more polished, better story, scenario, more challenging etc.
RE2 has a lot of game modes and a ton of nostalgia going on for it, but spending pretty much half of the game on that goddamn boring police department ( which surprisingly looks just like a mansion...) it's not a very fun or engaging experience.
4 is the best. The REmake, then CVX might take the third place, dunno?

Remake on Gamecube is the best, 4 is a close second!
