It's the Taiwan Chinese Hokkien culture called "八家将" (pa chia chiang) or "官将首" (quan chiang so), you can try search under these two to find out more the culture.
Very impressive performance indeed, I enjoyed it Just a quick question, do you remember if you did a reaction to Zhou Shen's song Silver Linings? I couldn't find it in your videos If not, I'll put it in your PM and I'm sure you'll love it very very very much.😁😍
@@pingpeiang1457I thought it is Nanyin pipa 南音琵琶and not nanjing. It is a version of pipa that holding flat and not straight up like today's pipa, believe passing down from Tang Dynasty and can still be seen in DunHuang wall murals in Gansu. Nanyin is believed to be Tang Dynasty imperial Court music , only available in today's Southern China especially in Quanzhou in Fujian Province and amongst the descendants of Fujian in South East Asia. It is called as Nanguan or in South East Asia we, called it TongGuan with Tong referring to Tang Dynasty. Nanyin is a living fossil of music which still preseved(unchanged) till today.
Just a friendly reminder: 尤长靖's name is actually pronounced as You 'Zhang' Jing, not 'Chang'. Or rather, you can simply refer to him by his English name, Azora Chin. Thanks for the reaction! Glad you enjoyed it.🥰
@@faridakardanova2882 Yes. According to him, back when he was in school, there was a sports event where he was on the blue team, and the team's mascot was Azora, a sea god from mythology. So, all the team members had the prefix "Azora" in their names. He then kept this name and used it on social media platforms. Interestingly, "Azora" translates to "blue sky," and his first hit song is called 昨日青空 "Yesterday’s Blue Sky." What a coincidence! 😆
