I was wondering the same! I've searched on every single streaming platform I could find. I even tried to purchase this movie but couldn't find it anywhere. No digital purchase, no rentals and no DVDs 😕 I saw no other way than to resort to this pirated TH-cam copy...🙄

Very faithful adaptation to an amazing horror franchise. Feels like Silent Hill 1-2 put together in story terms. Such an interesting take and I loved the new profound ideas this terrifying movie used. Easily the best film based on a video game. That foggy, mysterious and desolated town always manages to amaze and spook. It even uses the original music. Massive props to the director.
More than just a decent adaptation of the game, it clearly shows a deep love for the franchise. For a video game movie, it's very well managed, and the characters are portrayed with remarkable depth and high-caliber performances. The ending is truly impressive, leaving you with a sense of loss yet acceptance at the same time. The execution of the final scene is simply sublime

So he saw the normal place while the others see something else

honestly, it’s a shame that this is the only good movie adaptation of silent hill. it’s such a promising series with so many possible ways to artistically interpret the works into all kinds of media, especially film. yet besides this movie and a cheap sequel that manages to completely miss all which makes the original movie and games work so well, there is nothing. if i could wish for one movie to come out, it would be a faithful adaptation of a pre-existing Silent Hill story or a reimagining of the story but faithful to the games’ logic, setting and philosophy. i doubt that will ever come, but i would love it nonetheless.

How the fuck do you have an incredible soundtrack, a really promising setting, a decent budget, and some of the most iconic monsters in horror, then dump an absolute clusterfuck of a plot on top and ruin it? It's like the screenwriter played the first and last 10 mins of the game and thought they understood it, smdh. Silent Hill is a physical manifestation of a character's trauma and grief-ridden psyche, not an actual place. Grounding any of it in the real world totally wrecks the story.
