I just subscribed to your channel, referred by Bitty Penny. joe de fi, a wonderful journal maker, would appreciate prayers, I think. She has her channel on pause while she deals with a medical condition. I miss her but have been playing her videos and hopefully she won't lose progress she's made with TH-cam bc she's not posting videos right now. Also, Jan of JanB Cards needs prayers too. She's been off her card making channel since August with a medical issue, had surgery, but hasn't been able to do videos yet. I pray she recovers; we card makers miss her. She's a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and is keeping up with that business.

I bought your check kit. I was wondering if you or anyone knows what paper to use if you're trying to make it authentic. Or fun! Thinner paper I'm guessing? I ordered vellum and wonder if that'd be cool.💚
Try the method in my video “vintage antique documents and ephemera” the cheap (blue) graph paper with the holes will leave faint or no grid marks.. the checks are almost an invoice paper feel .. and the grid paper gives the most invoice feel in my experience! I hope that helps but yes you can try on (heavy) tracing paper or vellum would be really neat! Just remember if you print on your paper first… the technique for dying will wash away.. whatever you do to the paper .. printing should be the last thing! And don’t forget to iron paper if you do anything to it and want to print! Hope that’s helpful 💕♥️ thank you for supporting me 🫶🏻

Is the blue paper dyed, or just a part of the original letter color? If it’s dyed I’d love to know how you did that color.
It’s from the letters in the kit I just made… it’s just the address part printed very large! Isn’t it a beautiful color! ♥️
@@twistedpaperstudio it is a beautiful color. I’m wonder if it could be achieved by using blue streamers to dye water. I feel an experiment coming up in my future.
Hi.. I’m unsure what mean! I thought your question was if I dyed them the color. They were scanned and if you print them they will be close to the original color. The papers are from the 1800’s and it is primarily the paper used back then. Other then the ivory linen type paper used for the documents 🤗
Ummm...french letter is an old euphemism in the UK for a condom. You might wish to change your wording.🤭
