One of my favorite guitars. Just an absolute pleasure to play. Pick guard stays.

I just got one, and I am blown away at the craftsmanship and playability of this guitar. Very solid, well sounding, and beautiful finish. A bit front heavy, probably because of the massive headstock, but looks and feels great.

I love pickguards and pickup covers, and likely wouldn’t buy a guitar where they had been removed. That’s not to say that every guitar should be designed with a guard and covers, but if that is the classic look of a line of instruments, I prefer it to the “stripped down” look.
Btw, a friend of mine I play with on our church’s worship team got a Sheraton ii Pro a few years ago in natural finish. I kept telling him that if he got ready to sell it, to give me a chance first. Well, that time came about three weeks ago, and now it’s mine. I love it.

Congrats, definitely cool guitars. Not sure what my deal is with pulling the pickguards off all my Gibson style stuff. lol

I bought the guitar when it was first released and was thrilled for the value for the money as well as the attention to detail that Epiphone supplied. The sound with double taps make this a no brainer. It is hefty though and needs some attention when brought home. String height and intonation was required on mine but, all guitars need this.

The set up on the one we got in was really good. Epiphone has been killing it lately!

So tempted... The Probucker 2&3's sound so different than they do in a solid body. I need a spongy semi-hollow, I've never been drawn to them but really need to get used to one.

The quality of this instrument was really good. It would be a good one to test the waters with.

@@PJandtheBeard I was at the shop and was going to buy this Gibson 339 but after playing the Epiphone Bonamassa ES 335 62 reissue, I changed my mind. Yes, money was one of the factors on why I got the Epi but the determining factor was it sounded and played better not to mention how beautiful it is.

I just one yesterday in perfect condition, second-hand with a hard case, off Ebay here in the UK for only £320. I’m astonished by this guitar to the extent I feel like I might sell all my other guitars except this and a Telecaster!

and when you decide to sell it plan on struggling to get half what you paid for it.
But if you plan to keep it forever its a great guitar

Is the used value too low or is it too high for everything else? The used market can be crazy! Typing this minutes after browsing FB market place and thinking some of the asking prices for what they had were crazy. Especially when they went on to list the work that needs done but “won’t cost that much”. lol

@@PJandtheBeard Ive owned two of these and sold them both, they are awesome guitars for sure. Yes the values of all music gear is in the toilet but you almost cant give the Sheraton Pro 2's away.
I paid $945. for my current one with the optional case, and had it listed for sale for nearly a year at $500. ( its excellent condition also), and I haven't even had a nibble. I could list on Reverb but after fees and shipping I would end up considerably lower than $500. and would have to list it that low because thats what people are actually getting for them IF they can manage to sell one.
For contrast I started out with one of their 335 models and it was horrific, paint sloshed up on the top from the F holes, bare wood, twisted neck etc. The Sheraton is a much much better instrument, never had a bad example from the factory but I think people dont really understand how great these guitars are, that with the massive inflation we have and people maxed out on their cc's I believe are the issues.

I agree, buy an EPI if it is an EPI not a Gibson wannabe.
