- Anna Miriam Brown, the writer of His Story the Musical, sits down for a "red chair" chat, sharing the story of how, despite being untrained musically, she ended up creating His Story the Musical. She explains how she felt like it was a calling from God to communicate the story of the Bible in a fresh way.

Gifted songwriter Anna Miriam Brown, 18, is the writer of His Story the Musical, a new theatrical production of the life of Jesus Christ with a sound many compare with the Hip-Hop of "Hamilton", emotional melodies of "Dear Evan Hansen", and orchestral beauty of Disney's "Alan Menken".
A dyslexic unable to read or write before 9 years old, Brown majored early in the arts as a homeschooler, before starting to pen her first songs as a 15-year-old. During a missionary trip to Africa, she started to assemble the songs which would become the musical. As a teenager who understands the power of social media, Brown sees an opportunity to reach her generation with the timeless story of light and hope. She says, “My heart for this project is to inspire curiosity about the Bible and to clearly and beautifully present the gospel in a way that doesn’t force Jesus down people’s throats, but instead clearly shows His character so that people will understand who He is and want to know Him personally.”
Music and recording professionals from around the world collaborated to produce the new Christian musical, including the legendary Wendy Waldman’s Longhouse studios in LA, award-winning Christian singer Christine Dente’ as editor and consultant, medalist Atom String Quartet in Europe, and noted creative genius producer and pianist Pawel Bzim Zarecki in Warsaw, Poland.
His Story is released now as an audio musical on all platforms, and is to be brought to the stage in 2020.

This musical has had the most impact on my life than anything before. I truly feel that Anna Brown's work was God's call to me, as well as many others. It influenced me to read the bible more often, and I'm watching it impact my friends and my family as tell more people about it.

Praying for a great success
A few days ago in the morning, God told me to look up "Arrive" on TH-cam. Sounded like an overly simple word to look up, but it turns out that was exactly what He was saying. You know you have made something good when the composer of the universe is recommending it. Thank you Anna for making this for His people. I'm very passionate about the epicness found in musicals and so have wanted to hear the story of the Lord presented in that way for a long time. ...I found it somewhat strange though that God suggested something other than the name of the first song, but after learning just now that it was the first song to be put out (and in my opinion it is the best song in the musical), I think it makes sense.
