Dealing with an addict is seriously hard. Being an addict is seriously hard. People want to throw rocks at these women but to me it looks like two women trying their best to navigate a very complicated relationship. Neither are perfect. But you can see the love they have for each other.

I think one of the most haunting things kyle said was in the van "And mom had to die worrying about you" and then wonders why Kim was broken by her sister all these years and why Kim trusted Brandi more than her

Kyle has been the worst sister I have ever seen on reality television. Outing your sister’s alcoholism the way she did out of pure anger and spite, always picking her relationships with the other women over Kim, playing a huge part in doubting her sobriety, getting off on playing the victim over and over, etc etc. “You’re not a martyr, Kyle.”

I'm currently reading House of Hilton. Very good book that talks about Kathy, Kim & Kyle's upbringing & family history. From what I'm reading, their mom has a lot to do with why they are the way they are.

It actually makes me realize Kyle is Big Kathy 2.0. She is exactly like her mother and makes me understand why she has such unstable and tenuous relationship with her sisters.
These sisters including Kathy have gigantic chips on their shoulders toward each other. Still going on today. I believe they fight about everything except what is really at the core of their animosity with each other. Hope they all find peace together someday.

I was always a Kim fan from the beginning. I think she has had a fabulously traumatic life, something only people in Hollywood could understand. To have been the family’s standout star as a child and watch the other sisters come out on top later in life has to be painful. I’m sure Kyle has been there for Kim when she didn’t want to be, due to Kim’s issues, but it’s not fair to always be an antagonist. Kyle never shows support for Kim on the show, always pulling her down. Sad. And for the record I do think Kim was, at a minimum, swindled out of some equity from her moms house. I’m sure there’s a lot to the story, and I doubt it was something Kim could’ve been responsible for owning/maintaining, but I do believe her.

She was “swindled out of the house” because she wanted to keep it, yet didn’t want/couldn’t pay for her portion of it. Typical alcoholic logic. 4:15 proves everything - Kim can’t get the story straight, and she straight up admitted that all 3 sisters got an equally split check. She also admitted in season 1/2 that Kyle and Mauricio gave her a monthly payment to help with her expenses (again, because she’s a mentally ill addict). I doubt any of these people defending Kim would have put even 5% of the effort Kyle has over 30 YEARS to try and keep her sober and help her. At some point you’re just left disappointed and with resentment dealing with a chronic relapser.
To me it seems Kyle would do anything to be on this show including selling out those close to her.
Kyle makes me think of Any Winehouse's team letting her perform clearly not okay and just watch and let it go on and to continue to produce a show.

Kim more then likely paid for that house when she worked for Disney as a very young girl . They’re mother was a stage mom and Kim Started at the age of seven years old in the late 60 early 70s . I know they took her in the end and know wonder she ended up where she did.

Kyle literally exploited Kim for storyline purposes and then played victim. You do not throw an active alcoholic right in the spotlight, in a situation where drinking is encouraged. And the things she said to constantly trigger Kim. I see right through Kyle.

I don't pick a side here because 1) it's NOT easy when someone in ones family is an addict (many lies, for instance) and 2) we don't know the full history. I think there's been more going on in their past than we haven't gotten to know about and I think they've hurt each other a lot.
They need professional therapy. They have years and years of stuff that they need to work out. And people blame Kyle a lot but I think there's a lot more to it that wasn't shown on the show. I've always been on Kyle's side because I can relate to her with my own family

Kyle is such a horrible sister.
I always thought Kim should not have been on the show because she had her personal and accountability struggles (which the show arguably exacerbated), and the underlying resentment and competition between the two would not be a good combination, especially as Kim who used to be the most successful, has fallen onto continuous hard times. Although we can always say Kyle could have handled it better, I don't blame Kyle for the things she has said or done - it's hard to have a family member going through issues who you want to help but is also an adult and makes their own decisions.
Kyle has this issue where she's always the victim and always needs validation, when she needs to validate the feelings of her sisters - it's not always about her.
There seems to be so much darkness between these two sisters. Based on what we've seen and heard from the show, it seems like Kim is suppressing a lot of trauma that Kyle doesn't mind exploiting. Sister dynamics are tricky and even more so when power and money is involved. Kim is the true star and Kyle is space trash at worst.

People are too quick to pick sides. You can have your opinion about Kyle based on the show and things that have happened with the other women, but overall this is just a difficult situation between two sisters. There is just so much history, and so many things we don't know about.
Of course it was cruel from Kyle to say that their mum died worrying about Kim. On the other hand, there's probably a lot of truth to that statement.
In her condition, Kim wasn't in the best position to be super mum, so I guess her children confided in Kyle and had a lot of support from their aunt.
Kim on the other hand may have gotten support from Kyle, but I think she just didn't feel emotional support and understanding. Kyle sure did some questionable things on the show towards Kim.
Even though it's an interesting storyline to witness as a viewer, national tv isn't the best platform to solve these family issues.
I need a lifetime documentary about Kim Richards because the lore is so deep with that one. I want to know everything this reality show glossed over.
