Those were biblical teachings.. These "Magicians" are using super natural powers to pull these stunts off.
How about watch the hours of documentary exposing these magicians and the face changers. Take your own advice and see there is no logical explanation, and there are youtubers who explain how to summon these demons for assistance. "look it up". @Scott James

Joeren Mae Gallenero don't think it mattered as the fact that they are tied to video clips meant he knew all along. In fact by showing the cards first people might think he drew on afterward, then he would've successfully debunked those by showing the clips in that order

This guy is underrated. Not only is he a great magician but his presentation is up there with the best in the business.
Shin is amazing. But this guy Jon. Everything about him is amazing. His presentation. His spirit. He's more than just a magician. Amaaazzionng. The last part of the act was beyond jaw dropping. rooting for him...

Until you find out that his stage presence is all he has. His tricks are mediocre. Extremely mediocre actually compared to Shin. No jaw-dropping here, sorry. But still, awesome presentation, give him that.
Shafna Fahick Shin Lim’s tricks and presentation is pure skill with lots of practice and sleight of hand. This guy’s trick is good but everyone could do it if you learn how, it’s like learning a piano piece. Shin Lim is the winner for me.
He's just forcing cards on the judges
Shafna Fahick You can buy the "magic chalkboards" that Jon was using online. Issy Simpson, the 8 yr old magician uses the same so-called chalkboard in her performance. Very simple tricks performed by both Jon and Issy. Shin Lim though.. is a master wizard..he is all MAGIC!!
His tricks Are jaw dropping if you have no knowledge about magic but Professional Magicians cannot figure how Shin's Trick Work.Jon's trick are mediocre.People who know 0% about magic they will say Jon is better than Shin But Shin fooled Penn n Teller 2 times!He is far far better than Jon..

He’s terrible. He does a minor variation of the same trick each time and if you pay attention to the moment the judge’s make their pick, he’s sloppy and you can see what he’s doing. Like when Howie flips to Omaha and he hands him the bottom paper that says Tulsa. Pathetic. Shin Lim is a real magician, not this garbage.

He's a pretty decent magician but what's his stand out feature is his presence and presentation. Well done really!

So many talented people on the show, singing, dancing... but this guy always make me feel joyful and happy. ALWAYS!
Every time i watch the show and Jon is on there...Every time i have i watched the videos over and over....All i could think about is this mans back story and the man he has become today...the energy....the positive attitude ...the success he has had in life...with his back story he could have easy gone a different route in life....with society today people should be honored to have such a man in their lives
If he had did that in his last season, I’m pretty sure he would have won.
I still think in the regular series for his last act he was not going for the win.

This guy has had more second chances- losing both parents, ending a successful football career due to a condition that almost killed him, 2 marriages and now his being a wild card act- and he's used all of them to his advantage! Jon's great in my book!
This act here takes coincidences to a whole new level!
A true master magician, completely in control of his own destiny, in every way, yet it feels so random. That's what makes Jon so special, he keeps the energy in every movement, every word, every reveal, and delivers a truly unbelievable result. And Jon is pure, honest, and completely enthusiastic.

I almost agreed with you. Then I got to thinkin about it and it ocurred to me, that if it hadn't of been for football, we might not have had the chance to enjoy this video. The condition he had that required emergency surgery to save his life, a couple years back, was found when he took a mandatory physical to approve of him being traded to another team. It would have been his first time playing for a different team, which is rare for a guy in the league for 13 years. Things aligned just the way they were suppose to for Jon Dorenbos. This definitely is one of my favorite performances ever.
Football give him a long career and always probably put over 10milliom dollars in his bank account and set him financially for life. No magic can just be for fun and a passion for rest of his life without worrying about supporting his family
Tbh I love jon so much but he is not good magician....he is more of showman, entertainer and inspirational. He couldn't compete with other good magicians

@@techessential5070 for Simon he glues the cards with lot of 3 of clu... For the big cards it's almost the same with just long and shorts cards (1 mm difference), so we only see 1 on 2 when he show them.... It's really 3 years old kid trick...

this guy literally is a champion, he made simon moowell smile.
He makes everyone feel good. He makes Tony Robbins look like a depressed loser. He could easily incorporate his act with motivational speaking and corporate companies would book him up for years.

This was actually the best magic trick I’ve ever seen on the show. The way that he stunned everyone and then went back to previous seasons and clips and shocked the world. I’m amazed. I love shin Lim, but there is no one more worthy of the title than Jon.

Sadly you don't realize the genius of shin lim. Dorenbos is amazing for stage presence, but his tricks aren't even close to the level shin does.
Tempestuous that’s fair. I was just blown away by how dorenbos relates his acts to previous seasons. But after watching shin lims recent, Jon has much competition.

Trick is really simple, just basic methods of influencing peoples choices BUT ou boy that was well put together. Showmanship and ability to tell story, way to connect judges and audience was unbelievable! Well done!

I think he could have got a show, like Piff did, but he tried to go back to football. Now that that's over with, he'll have a show in Vegas, win or lose, and I'd love to go see him live!
Why? Because he is forcing cards always, there is no free choice. Then the rest is theatrical act which you get wowed by.

Awww even though he's magic tricks are very simple I was still touch by his performance. It was a good idea to incorporate past picks from his previous performance in this. It showed bits of his journey & it's almost like he took us back to memory lane with him. And ofcourse it's also great that he ended it where he started with Simon and his #3 card just like he said.

IKR! Singers have a dozen shows they can get on. They get on here and stand there and sing. I mean, okay, some sound good, but where's the talent? Danger acts, comedians, light shows, shadow shows, magicians - omg, why do we even need singers on AGT? They have their own shows!
