I am 64 . You are from the best generation EVER . No other generation have what we had , isn’t it crazy ? How the other generations are so boring! I love comedy I watched S1,2,3 several time ,cause I love the sound track I I love Luc and Julien . Camille is the best actor ,Silvie is difficult to watch , sometimes I laugh but I love her lovers ! Gabriel is so sweet and I love Lucas Bravo as a person he is so thoughtful and down to earth . I did not like S4 .
Agree, I'm 67 years old, becoming more and more picky when watching movies, but Emily in Paris has been captivating from beginning to end, with a great script, a wonderful cast, and beautiful visuals. It made me laugh, like it.
Lucas is so right. They really need to write Gabriel's character to have more depth and more action, more background.. i mean, he's the main love interest

I am considered a mountain woman from Oregon but I love seeing in this show Paris, Rome, and the clothes, food, and the love entanglements, etc. And Mindy's song in Rome... OMG! I want a season 5 definitely. I want Emily to realise it was really Gabriel she needs and meant to be with. Gabriel, on the other hand, needs to really fight for her and there’s a good chance he will now that it’s dawning on him that he is losing Emily to and Italian guy forever. To think of it, there’s a lot of avenue there that they can explore to make season 5 a great love story and an eye opener for all the characters with all their relationships.
I LOVE this show so much. Being from Europe and having spent much time in Italy I was so exited to see Emily in Rome. And the handsome Italian boyfriend is a great addition. I hope we get to see many more seasons.
You being from Europe could give me some input as to why there are so many French diligently watching the show and hating at the same time. They complain about its cultural tone-deafness, inappropriateness, and racism. I know some French to be arrogant even though I am such a Francophile. Any thoughts?

I still love Emily and Gabriel, after everything they have been through they always came back to each other. BUT he ALWAYS chooses someone else over her and I know how that feels. I hope season 5 really changes things for Emily in the best ways. Whoever she ends with or if she chooses to choose herself over any man. She’s bouncing from man to man and maybe being single and independent could be something really empowering as well. I’m so excited!!!
My favorite show. I have seen every season over and over that I now know their lines before they say it. In a very difficult world right now, this calms me down and I love it. All the characters are each unique and I love seeing the dynamics of their relationships evolve. In Season 4, I have to admit that I found Genevieve to be quite the saboteur. Knowingly I might add and didn’t like her motives. She is beautiful and can speak French but she is too immature for Gabriel. Emily is kind, loving, hardworking and I love how her and Gabriel had such deep feelings for each other. Marcello is sweet, family oriented and has no relationship drama. I love France and Italy. I cannot wait for Season 5!

He did think he lost his star, his baby, and Emily, all at the same time.. Emily shouldnt have jumped into another relationship so after saying I love you
Emily's head spins faster than Carrie in the Exorcist. She hurts Gabriel. She hurts Alfie. She'll hurt Marcello for sure. The sobbing over Alfie when she just walked away from Gabriel...what?! She didn't even bother to walk into the restaurant and confront Genevieve (great actress by the way). If she really was in love with Gabriel, she would have at least talked to him and said, "Genevieve said this; is it true?" The fact that Lily Collins is so darn cute is the only reason there is not an Emily in Paris Hate Club. (She's so adorable.) I wonder if she ever gets handed these scripts and says, please...no, no, no. The one constant is that Gabriel always protects Camille, and deep down, Camille can't live without Gabriel. Sofia said it. You can't be too far from Gabriel...and she meant baby or not. Gabriel gave her a ring, a family ring, and wants her to keep it. Gabriel's first instinct is to protect her: ski slope, Christmas, Apartment, her feelings. Just let those two get together, and let Emily start fresh with Marcello and you can stretch that out for as long as you want. I am beyond thrilled that Camille is in season 5. Someone put online that she was not. I was so bummed. I'm going to follow Camille Razat's career, and when EIP does end, you should come to Los Angeles. You are a brilliant actress. Love this whole cast. Please stop making poor Lily Collins play a player. Let her grow up.
Gabriel let Camille keep that ring, yes. But he also told her that they need to separate in a way and find people they should really be in love with. He is not IN LOVE with Camille, he loves her but she is not his focus anymore. There is so much they went through together but he is wanting different things now. I don’t know, I hope Gabriel and Camille stay away from each other and grow separately. Camille is going to adopt a child because that is what she wanted, she admitted that to Emily that she is doing what she wants for herself now and that is incredible to choose yourself before any man/woman.
I have watched countless TH-cam videos of French/European people hating on the show like cultists. They obviously watch every second of the show bc they know everything that's happened and yet they tear it apart and say all negative things. They all say that it's culturally French-insensitive, racist sterotyping, blah-blah-blah. I hope to understand. It's a fantasy and not to be taken seriously. And yet they diligently watch it bc it's the city they're so proud of but wouldn't care to admit. They can't realize that most of the cast are French actors as well as the staff and other hired workers. Paris/France government is making tons of money for the show to be filmed there!

She is very lovable as Lily and Emily! But it makes one think... does Emily want to be more French or remain American at her core. Her stark changed boldness in clothing says she is no longer the Emily from Chicago; it's understandable because her work is in luxury impactful Marketing but her clothing/wrapping is sometimes overboard (winged dress worn at Galeries Lafayette) that it is so far removed from her Emily as the naive, young American who wants to bring an American perspective to Savoir/L'Agence Grateau. As for Camille Razat, I really love her style of clothing that I tried to look her up on Pinterest/Instagram! I agree that Camille should still be part of the show. I have grown to love this show 😍which I only started watching (binge) last year. When friends told me about it a few years back, I did watch S1 E1 but stopped because I wanted to preserve what I know and have seen of Paris in my trips there. As an Italian who lives in Rome, I do love the show but the level of stereotypes was a bit too much. I just love listening to Sylvie's and Luc's Italian, which is perfect and Ashley's musical number in the finale is just breath-taking but I thought the show was this close to jumping the shark. The writing felt a bit tired and stretched out. The whole Romeo-and-Juliet-ish impossible love between Gabriel and Emily based on such crappy communication got a bit old and Gabriel's character was a bit depressing throughout the season. Come on Darren Star, bring the spark back.
I stayed in Sicily for a month and loved the Sicilians as I was grocery shopping or doing the regular wife activities while I was there. I have been discriminated against twice in Napoli but it didn't bother me bc I knew it was just from their jealousy and ignorance. But France is another story. I hope to eventually understand all of the stereotyping in the show. I always visit France bc I am a Francophile but they were always on river cruises, not having the chance to experience a bit of practical, everyday life/culture. I have met some nice French and a few not-very-nice ones. I don't want to be insensitive but I love the show for the pleasant characters, the funny dialogues, the fantastic wardrobe, the beautiful French sceneries, etc. Having read some of the hate/negativity for the show, I feel that some of it is arrogance bc the haters obviously watch every minute of the show for them to tear apart. I am sure they love and are flattered that their country is being showcased in a very popular global TV show. The thing is I have seen shows/movies with Japanese/Filipino/American backdrops and each one of them has presented some stereotypes, too. You would wonder if they ever hire local professional advisers to monitor for cultural appropriateness because stereotyping always happens. Or I could simply take the show with a grain of salt and enjoy it for what it's worth. Any thoughts?

Is it just me that thinks Marcelo is unlikeable? Team Gabriel! (Yes they are both sulky, but Marcelo more so) Obvs Alfie is the green flag of the bunch though.
I love all the characters bc nobody is seriously mean but this Genevieve is such a malicious, conniving character that has put some darkness to the show. Camille and Emily had some competition over Gabriel but they were still very pleasant. It will be interesting how the show turns out concerning Emily, Gabriel, and Genevieve.

Listen communication barriers or not Gabriel still left her on that mountain, then stood there yuking it up with Camille. Gabriel put himself in the “red flag” category- he was fine virtually cheating on Camille. Emily was too insensitive to deserve Alfie unless she matures. But she’s leveling up in Rome- I am team Marcello- he sensitive, seems respectful overall. Emily likes him, hopefully the writers will let their storyline breathe bc there’s so much there, I feel like there’s an undercurrent of tension that could make establish real trust with Marcello, bringing him out of that sensitive shell would be interesting journey bringing them closer. And Rome is better than Paris in Many ways but in Paris you’ll never feel it’s small the way the lovely Rome may feel (even though it’s NOT. I’m sure Emily will get to Positano width Marcello ❤
I don't think that's right in my opinion. Not going to lie Emily was toying with all of their emotions. She was toying with Gabriel around whether or not to be with him, when she could've been truthful from the start instead of leaving him on. I particularly dislike her more because then she brings Alfie into her life as well, yet she still was not being honest and truthful with who she was in love with. I feel like this season ruined everything. It honestly just made it look like men are just being used as objects for a women's love, like honestly that's not okay. And for her to just move across the country to find another man, literally just screams hoe energy like why can't she just stay single and alone, so she can stop ruining male lives because of her un-promised love. I hope she never gets her happy ending xx said with love
I disagree. I think it’s actually relatable how she moved on from Gabriel and kinda fell for Alfie although yes she still had feelings for Gab doesn’t mean she didn’t care for Alfie. He was a rebound and sometimes we fall in love with rebounds. She definitely didn’t go looking for Marcelo but he pursued her HARD. And now that she’s ended up in Rome it’s not for him it’s definitely for work. Since at Emily’s core she’s a workaholic. But she’s trying to lean into other stuff and that’s why she left her phone behind end of this last season. I think different environments and people bring other sides of us out which is a universal truth anywhere around the world. So sure it was messy AF with Gabriel but in truth he was the one always attached to Camille and cheating on her multiple times and then still pursued Emily after the chaotic wedding scene and a baby on the way. I will say this tho I’d like to see her evolve without a guy necessarily in the mix but it makes for great tv and the episodes are only so much so she’s gotta end up with someone, you know?

Lucas clearly can't accept that he won't be the main character, let the guy go, you don't have a chance with Lucien (Alfie), he is more charismatic and a better actor. In one interview, your sarcasm about him is unpleasant, you are so consumed by failure. The audience is not behind you at all, even in interviews journalists are in favor of Team Alfie

J'adore le show, great cast, fashion, intrigue, wonderful iconic Parisien sites, brilliant photography....Mindy and Emily's friendship is amazing.

I love all the characters bc nobody is seriously mean but this Genevieve is such a malicious, conniving character that has put some darkness to the show. Camille and Emily had some competition over Gabriel but they were still very pleasant. It will be interesting how the show turns out concerning Emily, Gabriel, and Genevieve.

Listen communication barriers or not Gabriel still left her on that mountain, then stood there yuking it up with Camille. Gabriel put himself in the “red flag” category- he was fine virtually cheating on Camille. Emily was too insensitive to deserve Alfie unless she matures. But she’s leveling up in Rome- I am team Marcello- he sensitive, seems respectful overall. Emily likes him, hopefully the writers will let their storyline breathe bc there’s so much there, I feel like there’s an undercurrent of tension that could make establish real trust with Marcello, bringing him out of that sensitive shell would be interesting journey bringing them closer. And Rome is better than Paris in Many ways but in Paris you’ll never feel it’s small the way the lovely Rome may feel (even though it’s NOT. I’m sure Emily will get to Positano width Marcello ❤

I don't think that's right in my opinion. Not going to lie Emily was toying with all of their emotions. She was toying with Gabriel around whether or not to be with him, when she could've been truthful from the start instead of leaving him on. I particularly dislike her more because then she brings Alfie into her life as well, yet she still was not being honest and truthful with who she was in love with. I feel like this season ruined everything. It honestly just made it look like men are just being used as objects for a women's love, like honestly that's not okay. And for her to just move across the country to find another man, literally just screams hoe energy like why can't she just stay single and alone, so she can stop ruining male lives because of her un-promised love. I hope she never gets her happy ending xx said with love
I disagree. I think it’s actually relatable how she moved on from Gabriel and kinda fell for Alfie although yes she still had feelings for Gab doesn’t mean she didn’t care for Alfie. He was a rebound and sometimes we fall in love with rebounds. She definitely didn’t go looking for Marcelo but he pursued her HARD. And now that she’s ended up in Rome it’s not for him it’s definitely for work. Since at Emily’s core she’s a workaholic. But she’s trying to lean into other stuff and that’s why she left her phone behind end of this last season. I think different environments and people bring other sides of us out which is a universal truth anywhere around the world. So sure it was messy AF with Gabriel but in truth he was the one always attached to Camille and cheating on her multiple times and then still pursued Emily after the chaotic wedding scene and a baby on the way. I will say this tho I’d like to see her evolve without a guy necessarily in the mix but it makes for great tv and the episodes are only so much so she’s gotta end up with someone, you know?

Paris was borring, nothing great in here for me so i am really happy to see Emily in Rome. Gabriel is annoying and his actor doesnt even like the show, he seems to be rude sometimes in interviews, so i hope they will give a chance to some new italian actors, more more of them pls, im annoyed by Gabriel and camile

He didn’t treat her badly. It was an impulse move & if Camille fell she could lose the baby. He called Emily when they got down. Told her she was his gf. And apologized. But she wouldn’t listen. It’s sooooo Sex and the City.

Season 4 was boring, it's the same storyline different season. The show has lost it's magic in my opinion.
