One of the best American "slasher" horror movies of the nineteen eighties..with an excellent script,a really great cast led by Jamie Lee Curtis and the late great Leslie Nielsen(who'd had thought it possible...the actor who went on to play Frank Drebin would appear in a slasher horror film)and a fascinating and emotional finale make this a classic of the genre.

Never thought I'd see Leslie Nelsen in a slasher flick
Before Airplane!, he was in many films that were dark and thrillers. His filmography is interesting.
This boy was in pain over his sister's death from childhood friends. He inflicted his pain on the people that hurt his sister
And that is why your parents tell you not to play in decrepit old houses.

I've never figured out of she was physically pushed out the window or fell out because of not being able to back up any more
I always assumed she backed up too far. Much like how Michael Myers fell off the balcony in HALLOWEEN.
