I hope you and your grand babies love them!! These donuts make my heart so happy! Also, I hope the video is easy to follow, rewatching it I realized I went a bit quick. ;) Happy Crocheting!! xo
It is my pleasure to share these cute donuts with you! After rewatching the video I realized I went a bit quickly (as I tend to do in my tutorials) thank goodness for the pause button. haha... Happy Crocheting!!
Thank you so much for your tutorial. I like your way of teaching. It made sense to me 😊 I made a few cute donut for decoration and the kids love them ❤ I plan on making a bigger version (pillow size) and have a few question. If I plan on making it 5time bigger, any idea on how to do it?? Should I just mulitply it with 5? 90 chain(18×5) R1-R7 (follow your pattern) R8??
Hi! Im so excited that this pattern clicked for you and that you've made a couple already! Here are a couple suggestions to make it pillow size! 1. You could use a chunky yarn, Bernat makes a great super bulky weight yarn and I would recommend using the size hook that the yarn recommends. 2. If you want to use a worsted weight yarn you could double up the strands and go up to a size 5mm hook or even a 5.5mm hook. -and if you want to make the stitch count larger you could start with a CH 27 then work 2SC + INC until you have 36. Then continue with the instructions above. You can increase to a total of 63, 72, 81 etc. Just make sure after an increase round you work one round of SC. Then when you reach the desired increase work 7-9 rounds of SC before you start decreasing. If you need any more help please email me. jenoelle.hb@gmail.com
@@jenoellecreates thank you for the reply. At first I thought about using Chunky or blanket yarn, but I have difficult using these types. But I'll definitely try all the methods you mentioned. Thanks you 🥰
@@nne09330 ok….I just crocheted the body of the donut and here are a few modifications (it turned out looking more like a steering wheel …it just needs a few more rounds to make it fuller..I hope that makes sense 😅) R1-7 how you have it only difference is the stitch count should increase by 18sc each round 36-54-72-90-108 . R8: 108 R9: 5sc + Inc R10-20 (added 4 rounds here to make donut fuller/not so skinny…you can add more rounds if you’d like) (126) Then R21 on how you have except start with 5sc + Dec & stitch count should decrease by 18sc reach round 126-108-90-72-54-36 Another option to make it huge would be to follow original pattern using a bulky/chunky yarn and a larger hook (whatever size the yarn recommends prob a size 10-12.) Please let me know if this helps! I’m happy to send you a pic of what I came up with via email or Instagram if you’d like…just send me a message on either one only if you want, both links are at the bottom of the video description. 🩵🩵
@@jenoellecreates Thank you so much! It helps so much. I really appreciate you, you have no idea. Thank you for responding! just to make sure i've understood correctly I shouldn't do a single crochet round after every increase round I should do round one to nine as you've listed above and then do 4 to 10 rounds of single crochets after so( R10-14 126 sc like you did or R10-20 of 126 sc if i would like more rounds ) before doing my decrease rounds
@@nne09330 correction…yes, you should do a single crochet round after each 🙈 I was trying to not type as much 😅 I hope it works out great for you! Happy crocheting! Lmk if you need anything else 🍩🍩

I am so happy you like them! They make me smile so much! xoxo
This is beautiful!! Do you have a pattern for smaller donuts?
Hello! Will it also work if I just glue the topping?
What is an increase? Is that an extra single stitch into one stitch? I understood the decrease, just not the increase.
Such a cute pattern! ❤
Yes exactly. Increase is putting 2sc into the same stitch
would this be correct if i wanted to make it huge : Chain 36
SS + CH1
Round 1: 1 sc + inc (45)
R2: 1 sc (45)
R3: 2 sc + inc (54)
R4: 1sc (54)
R5: 3sc + inc (63)
R6: 1sc (63)
R7: 4sc + inc (72)
R8-14 : 1sc(72)
R15: 4sc + dec (63)
R16: 1sc(63)
R17: 3sc + dec (54)
R18: 1 sc (54)
R19: 2sc + dec(45)
R20: 1sc(45)
R21: 1sc + dec (36)
R22: 1 sc(36)
