You should do a video on what adaptions you had to make on the van so you could drive on the continent, and anything else you had to do to be legal !!!
This is a great series. Glad it’s not just us that struggle with French fuel pumps!! 😂 On the boating thing, if you want to do it again, it’s worth doing your RYA Power Boat level 2 in the UK (2 day course) once you have this you can get the ICC from the RYA (it’s free) which is what most boat hirers want to see. Right I’m off to watch episode 3!
Just came across your video accidentally - enjoyed the humour and general happiness😄. I've travelled abroad a lot but never tried a campervan/motorhome so it's encouraging me to give it a go - greetings from sunny Leeds
Great vid mate 😊 hope you had an amazing time throughout. Those wasps are horrible they eat cossaints and coffee that’s why they are so massive. And that lake! We need to set up something like that at swinsty reservoir😅
Looks like you need updates back springs as it’s sitting quite low when fully loaded. Next diy video possibly? Springs and shocks? If your new lights are aligned perfectly then they must be aiming too low as the van is sitting low are the rear thus front pointing high!
I love how your daughter goes full on black clothing rocker, despite the temperature! And, yes, nose piercing all the way! I'd love to take our van to France, but I'd end up driving around roundabouts the wrong way and all sorts, and probably die.
Ace mate, i normally do Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and down to the Bavarian Alps and no tolls at all, UK has a lot to learn on pricing and facilities on site for sure, mainland Europe is just ace 👌👍
How did you keep the van clean for 500 miles? We drove from Great Ayton home this morning & our van is a muddy mess! The site looked as though it was packed with entertainment, things to do, great shop, the lake was awesome. Most importantly check out your tan developing! Rachel & David
Hey, sorry I missed loads of comments as I wasn't notified for some.daft reason.... Yes, ours works, before we had it the mechanism would trap the canvas and it made a hole in a part of it... certainly worth having
Hey buddy, they were given to me by a company called Silwy (about 2 years ago) #notsponsorednow 🤣🤣! They are quite pricey (I wouldn't have bought them if I had to pay for them 🤣🤣) - they look cool but not sure they are worth the price... anyway Google Silwy and it will bring up their site where you can buy them :)
Hey buddy, it's just a cheap flynet from B&M and we stitched on some velcro, then got some sticky back (aka Blue Peter 🤣) velcro and attached it that way. A good cheaper alternative as it 9nly cost us about £10
Hey sue, I'd say it's just as dog friendly as the UK from what we've seen... :) They can't go in pool areas and playgrounds though so bare that in mind
It’s great being able to share in your holiday, thank you. 💕🐾💕🐾
