New to your work, SO HAPPY. !!!!! Left you a comment under your Dolls of 2021 video. PLEASE let me know where I can register for the next class in doll making that you mentioned in this video. I will SHARE this video with my artist friends if that is OK with you Thanks again
For this class I just closed registration, but hope to open it again later this year. If you want to be notified of when that happens, you must email me so I can add you to the email list.
Hi! I give some recommendations on adapting a pattern or which proportions to use to draft your own, but the class is merely here to teach you how to sculpt baby faces, it doesn't advertise that it will teach you how to make a full doll.
Hi is this quite hard in the end ive seen some others which seem very soft but i want a quite solid head so that it doesnt get swuashed for a child to be able to pick it up and it not change shape.
I have but not heads that are very large, only small ones. For felted faces I recommend spot clean first and if they need to be fully washed, do not go full immersion, only the part of the face or body that needs to be cleaned.

Is glue used to help define the features?
No Gloria, I do not use glue, just fabric draping and stitches.
@@Figandme thank you so very much for responding.

Oh yes...a head like this takes anywhere between 10 and 15 hours to be needle felted and covered.
❤️😇
a wool baby 😍
Por favor, só uma pergunta. Qual é o tecido que vc usa para encapar a cabeça e o corpo? É malha cardada ou cotton?
I use wool batting and doll making cotton knit fabric for the skin.
Can felted dolls be washed?

How do I join please
