- All glories to His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami who was empowered and instrumental in assisting Srila Prabhupada's spreading of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness Lord Sri Caitanya's Sankirtan Mission all over the world. We served together in the Krishna Balaram Mandir management in the early 90's which was a time of no vehicles, mainly bicycle rickshaws, peacocks, and no cell phones. Maharaja was very dynamic, we heard his accomplishments and talents from many senior devotees; he spoke 7 languages, was a great class giver, kirtan leader and spiritual master and guide to so many devotees. Even though he almost lost his life by being shot in Vrindavan, Lord Krishna had other plans for him so he miraculously recovered and continued serving with even more enthusiasm and determination. His heart was always in Vrindavan, but he did spend time developing the Sri Dham Mayapur Master Plan, and served in leadership positions in Europe, America, Africa and India. Being part of the Vrindavan Executive Board we had his association and guidance. He was a friend who was very dear to all the devotees, we feel pain due to missing his association and look forward to seeing again in the near future.

@@shreshth_yt5870 The bodies of Sanyasis are buried, not burned. Srila Prabhupada's funeral was also performed this way (that video is also available on TH-cam). Sanyasa is the highest perfectional stage in Varnashram. It is understood when a Sanyasi leaves the body, He has already successfully mastered all the stages of Varnashram: Brahmachari, Grihastha, Vanaprastha and last stage Sanyasa. As far as scriptural references, when I come across those (either from Srila Prabhupada's writings or as shown directly in the Vedic scriptures), I can cite those. So for now, I hope this will answer you inquiry.

It is not only about how I live a life in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.That is a struggle, I know.I also struggled, but I found that when I shifted my focus from ‘how to live a life in Kṛṣṇa consciousness’ to ‘how to make a contribution’, my life was automatically more Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
