We just went to the track last friday, wheel hop and traction were issues on our stock mustangs. We are shopping these two kits right now. Thanks for the video!
Great eval!, Ordered this for my 2020 PP1 while doing lowering springs (with your code but back ordered) after viewing your install vid. This vid made me feel even better since I only have 800 miles on it!
Good review!!! and waiting a small amount of time is key. It allows you to get over the excitement of new parts and allows you to focus on any new noises or feelings\vibrations that might not get noticed right away. I have zero regrets with my #BMR parts. 🚗💨
Installed the 762R along with the BK051 differential bushing kit, along with a 4 wheel alignment and I agree with you and your assessment 1,000,000,000 %... The car is night and day IMPROVED in every metric. It's better than new and I bought it brand new. Using factory track apps without really trying I dropped 3/10ths off 0-60 AND 1/4 mi.
I have a steeda kit to lower my car and thinking of getting the stop the hop kit. This video helped me decide to go a different route. I'll be picking this up.
So from what you are saying the car has lost the flex that takes away instant pull when you first pull away, and due to taking out rear end float is making your steering more positive. That is a very positive outcome.
Love the review just wish it was an apples to apples comparison to my car. Mine is a 2016 Manual lowered on Eibach Pros. I do have the stop the hop kit but still have to install the differential bushings.
An absolute nightmare to install though. I just did mine and nothing line up. Had to loosen all 4 cradle bolts and have 2 friends with pry bars reef on it to get it done and I’m almost certain one bolt is cross threaded.
Considering the fact that rubber bushes are used to reduce road noise, I'd be interested to know if there's any more road noise since the upgrade and if so, to what extent. because my future Mustang will be a daily driver for long trips on country roads in Australia but with 670 rwhp.
@@Zander13Productions Hi again and thanks for your reply, I now understand that NVH is what you refer to as road noise and I did hear you mention NVH in the video but it's a term I've never heard here in Australia therefore didn't recognise it. Could you please just give me an expanded definition of NVH so I know for future. Oh, and I'm actually asking more about the normal rumbling sound that can come from the bitumen road surface, not necessarily the noises from bumps etc. Because our roads in Australia generally use coarse bitumen with rocks as big as 3/4" (sometimes bigger) and the noise from that can transmit through the suspension (also a little dependant on tyre choice of course).
Too bad that you didn’t keep your Boss. Long story short in 2012 I wanted to buy a new Boss dealers were marking them up 15 to 20k on a 44k car so I ordered a GT500 paid 56k for a track pack GT 500 all the options! Navigation link to my cellphone all the nerd tech stuff and supercharged!! Went through a divorce in 2014 liquidated the car!! Year and a half ago I came across a 2012 Boss #58 with 19k miles on it for 25.5k dollars had the Recaro option which meant torsen differential! No nav no sound system no bullshit!! If you can drive the Boss the Boss won’t let you down! Carrol Shelby and Jack Roush signed my Shelby when I got rid of it I kept the airbag panel they signed! Jack told me he never had signed a Shelby before but made an exception. Back in 2012 the Boss was old school today it might come across as caveman, what no link to my cellphone and no navigation??! The only thing I miss about my Shelby is the gearbox TR 6060 MT-82 sucks nuts like a squirrel or truck stop whore..
Good to hear you're happy with the BMR parts, Zander. I can see how it would help overall handling, including road courses, which I love driving. Just my two cents, but I believe less wheel hop helps driving concentration and should help the 60 foot as well. Maybe I'm wrong about that. Try it out and let us know. Any more BMR suspension parts coming in the future?
I'm probably going to duplicate this setup, my 2018 GT won't hook at all even with 285's in the rear. My previous 2016 must have had some suspension work done by the prior owner because it hooked almost every time.
Hey Zander great video as always. One question, does this kit put and stress on the cv axles during hard launch? It seems it would help them but I know they are a weak point. Currently running Lund e85 tune and JLT CAI on 2019 auto.
Stangmode used steeda bushings and his car is very loud and not daily driver friendly with those bushings. The transfer a ton of NVH. I recommended going with what I have with BMR and use code zander7 to save money and get free shipping. I have no NVH whatsoever.
A S550 mod that is worthwhile and affordable ? I'm 3 yrs into my 15' GT and my mods are Borla S-Type catback, GT350 style wheels with 305 & 275 staggered nitto nto5, JLT catch can, Weathertech floormats, and a Clutch Pedal Extension . (I'm 5'5") All my mods were worthwhile , just very expensive.I keep hoping that as time passes that the S550 stuff will come down in price .Some stuff has already come down I think, like brake parts. The first year or 2 I could hardly find any aftermarket pads and rotors but now there are some affordable kits out. Thanks for this review and I may give it a try now .
Hey Zander ! I've got all BMR on my 18. The Cradle Bushing Lock Out Kit, Rear Toe Links, Vertical Links, Performance Lowering Springs. It is super solid now .. wondering if this mod you've done would make things even better or if I'm wasting time and money? Btw .. It's cool to see you work on your own car 😎
Does this fit the 2015? I also have the CB005 cradle bushing lock out kit as well , cb006 kmember support, performance springs and vertical links. Wonder if adding this parts will not get in the way during installation. Also mines a DD. Hopefully and not gna be too stiff on bumps @Zander13
So have you noticed any extra differential movement now that you have locked down the rear suspension ? Thanks for the video, you know i gave the like button a click . BULLITT K0040
@@Zander13Productions Cool ,I appreciate the information you give . I plan on doing suspension mods on my BULLITT . I want to keep my car looking stock so the upgrades I'll do will be under the car. @@Zander13Productions I have diff bushings. 100% worth it. No movement at all. There is more noise but it only comes when you put in the clutch. It sort of amplifies the clunkiness from the drivetrain.

Spring is Coming.. eventually in Canada. Just ordered the CB005 and the 762 thanks to your vids and Zander7 code!

Awesome. I hope you like it. Did you use the zander7 code?
@@Zander13Productions Yes

absolutely!!! please you that zander7 promo code. it helps us both out! thanks.
Nice review man! Keep the good job. Cheers!
Great review. If you had to guess what would the installation cost?
Not much 1-200. I would do it for free. On a lift it’s like an hour job
But hey I don't know how you installed the 762R kit along with jacking rails....they use the same factory tapped holes in the rear.
So from what you are saying the car has lost the flex that takes away instant pull when you first pull away, and due to taking out rear end float is making your steering more positive. That is a very positive outcome.
The car feels that way yes. The rear is solid now and tracks better.
The side camera driving view is pretty cool
I try to spice things up

My wheelhop is virtually 99.999999 eliminated. It puts power down like a live axle and handles like IRS best of both worlds.

They install at same time
Did you install this yet? What do you think? I'm looking at doing the same

@Zander13 do you recommend replacing those rubber bushings with the metal ones that @StangMode used?
