- At Anthony's house, we made a modern wood and steel stair railing. He used Fusion 360 to design a beautiful stair railing that wasn't that difficult to make. Come see how we did it! Rockler is your go-to source for woodworking tools and supplies. rockler.com #ad

I’m Cade, and I like to watch Bob make stuff
Hi Cade.
Hi Cade, I’m Cade too!! I also like to watch Bob haha
Hi Cade i like to watch the comment section while watching i like to make stuff 👏🏼
Hello Cade. I share the same hobby and I like to take ideas and create my own from them for my projects around the house and for customers. 🤙🤙
I'm YuIshi, and I like to watch Bob make stuff. 😂😂😂😂
this whole area looks so much nicer, especially the railing
its amazing how that railing made the rest of the space magically update itself
@@AnthonyRose They explain it literally 13 seconds into the video
@@devoid-of-life I know. That's my house.
@@AnthonyRose well shoot now i feel stupid
@@devoid-of-life don't. :) It's fine!
Man, the Wilhelm scream in the montage over the drawn face for the dowels was great.
Haha
The flute whistle when he blew the sawdust out of the post was better
9:40 - it's stuff like this which is why I love watching your videos - I'm sure one day that trick will come in handy
It looks amazing.I wish to be like you
This turned out so well and seems to fit the space perfectly! Would love to have seen the rest of the renovations they did because the before and after is stunning.
I post a lot of renovation updates on my Instagram. :)
@@AnthonyRose ok and? edit: mb sorry i feel stupid
@@devoid-of-life thats the guy from the video 😅

Love when Bob throws in safety advice. Super entertaining channel, but it's nice to be able to learn along the way too.
This isa a design that looks better in real than on paper.
Really love it.
This turned out fantastic! Great job Bob and Anthony
Beautiful design. Excellent execution. The black oak and cherry look great together.
Knocked it out of the park with this one guys.
I love how they added the little whistle at 15:35 when Bob blows into the wood 🤣🤣
I was right! Killer design and execution.
Thanks!
It's nice to see you all guys. Great job.
Very nice design railing. It turns out very well. Can't wait to see ur next videos. To see what you make next. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend at ILTMS. Keep designing. Keep making. God bless.
Sweet work may God continue to bless your work young men.🙏🙏👍👍
Very nice! It's simple construction that finishes beautifully. I had the thought of drilling the angled holes for the metal rods in the 2x's all the way through, since those faces would be hidden, allowing most of the metal rods to be slid in after the oak was assembled and anchored. These holes would be covered by the Cherry. All to minimize how many rods needed to be placed during the 4x glue up.
Loved the outtakes on this one. Railing turned out amazing!
Hi guys, super job as usual. Also, when lumber is laminated into large sections, especially Oak, it is far more stable (less prone to splitting/cracking) than a solid large section beam. Glue lam beams are great for construction.
The most important load bearing beams in a homes are typically massive laminated beams. God those things are heavy. Also very important to not drill holes in them lol.
@@redhammer92 i used to work in a lumber yard and yea, i would move like an 8' by hand but anything bigger i just used a forklift (partly lazy partly its just freaking heavy) i always had one for myself so it made it easy,
Gorgeous with that red cherry ! Love the walls
That railing is amazing! Doesn't even look like the same landing area as it started
The biggest project I think I've used fusion for was making a bed frame, and it really made it a breeze knowing how much wood I needed to order, and the basic measurements I needed to cut. I was genuinely surprised how handy it was
Beautiful. Thank you for the safety tip with the table saw!
Awesome Job on that railing, this is right on time as I have to build two new Rails for my house for safety on Staircase
love the look. can't stop stairing.
Oh you
Wow - that is a seriously cool project and the result is fantastic! Great work!!!
Glad you like it
Nice work! definitely looks fresh and modern with the new paint on the wall. Looks like its a completely different house.
Very nicely done 👍
Looks awesome Anthony! I like the contrast between the black and cherry
I'm not usually a fan of industrial design, but the addition of the cherry helps this look much warmer and more inviting. Thanks for sharing!
I've been following you for years and it's always a pleasure to watch
I like it! Simple, yet elegant. Id have matched the angle of the handrail of the stairs.
It’s bananas how great this came out! Nice job guys!
Thank you for your content.
Looks bomb! Way to work together.
Oh man, I've been considering a project like this for a while. Super happy this hit my sub box today!
Hope you enjoy it!
Beautiful job. I will try to make similar one for my stairway. Thank you for an idea.
Very beautiful. I liked a lot.
Great project !! An looks great too.
That is freaking awesome.
SOO COOL! Great work Bob and Team! Every Video I walk away with at least 1 " Huh, well that's a good idea"
Wow! This looks fricking awesome!
Wow, this railing looks fantastic. Great job guys!
Awesome, love it, it's safe for the kiddos now!
I love the ginkgo leaf wall art near the stairs.
That was an awesome episode. Very cool.
That is a beautifully designed rail and very cool build. great job.
Great job guys! Anthony - great color choices on the walls! The cherry complements it nicely!
Thanks!
What is the actual wall color? I love teal and that grabbed my attention. May do my home office in that color...
@@AnthonyRose what is the actual paint color? I replied to the main post and not to your comment, smh
@@Thorin7.62 oopsies! It's called Deep Emerald by Pittsburgh Paint
@@AnthonyRose thank you! Quite an interesting color, may be well suited to one of our guest rooms, or perhaps the home office as originally stated, although that is more of a "gentleman's lounge" than an office
I heard the scream at 5:16!
As did I... was about to post... that got dark quickly.
I love it. It was so subtle too. So funny.
You would scream to if those were your eyes.
amazing work and tools 🔧👏.
That’s beautiful! Love that wall color as well!
What I like about this "how to" vs others is the explanations along the way with each step clearly shown from multiple angles. I feel like I could replicate or take the techniques and apply them to my own project.
Glad it was helpful!
Outstanding, great design.
Forgot how much I loved this Channel until recently :)
It looks great, awesome job guys.
Love your videos
Thank you!
That came out fantastic!
Absolutely gorgeous railing. Great design Anthony, and great job guys building and installing this beautiful work of art!

Love the scream when you drill through the graffiti face @5:13. 😂
Beautiful.
I Love this build. Looks so Awesome.

That looks fantastic! Nice job guys!
The flute sound was the highlight of my day
You are almost selling me on this fusion 360.. Might have a new student here.
Great step by step guide!

Bob, Josh, the whole team, creepily precise content, on time, per the usual. Thanks for liking to making stuff. 🔨
That turned out really nice. Alan
Thanks!
Bob has that classic Engineer look, rock on man 🤙🏾.
Nice makeover 👍
That’s a sick railing honestly
Thank you!
Looks amazing guys! Another great one for the books
nice info on the kickback at the start, although u could also use a pushing wood, that way u can still be accurate with your right guide (and touch-slide along itç without it jamming. small tip from a belgian carpenter x
That looks Awesome!
That looks amazing
very very cool piece
Pretty beautiful work, guys! It turned out better than I thought! 😃
Really well done!!!
Stay safe there with your families! 🖖😊
Looks much better than before
Hot damn! That came out so nice 🤘
Even more impressing than the skills required to make this kind of job is the patience required…
Man all these little measurements here and there. I could never do it! 😅
“Cherry on top”… nice 😊 👌🏼
Nice work guys Thanks for sharing the footage with us!💖👌👍😎JP
I'm usually a foamsmithery guy, that's my forte, but I end up watching you guys all the time, you do super cool work, and I've definitely saved a few videos, keep doing what you're doing, you guys make great content
Amazing work! Inspires me to do the same.
Here's a wood working challenge that hasn't been duplicated since 1878. The helix shaped spiral staircase without a center pole or nails/screws. The Loretto chapel in Santa Fe, NM. Now that would impress me. 😉 (The miraculous stairs)
I saw the stairs as a child and wondered how one man could build that without a center pole and the fact that he left before they could pay him made it stranger.
Looks awesome
Man, that looks nice! 1-2-3 blocks (bits video!) are awesome for that table saw fence off-set technique at the beginning.
looks really good! i love how simple the process making it was once you understood what techniques to use. next is updating that kitchen we all grew up in lol
I really appreciate how you talk through the steps. 👍 Thank you. Now if I could just borrow your work shop, I’d be set.
All kidding aside, great video and great work!!!
I really enjoy these general home improvement videos. Really helps me visualise the various areas of my house that can be changed or updated. Thank you for the inspiration!
