I summitted Mt.Kilimambogo & visited the Fourteen Falls.

“Kilimambogo” means a mountain of buffaloes or Ol Donyo Sabuk by Maasai pastoralists, meaning big mountain. The mountain is located in Kyanzavi division, Matungulu district of Machakos county. Kilimambogo stands at the borders of Machakos district and Thika district. The big mountain, which measures 7,037 ft (2,145- metres has a rich history accompanied by spectacular scenes and landmarks like the Fourteen Falls.
The 14 Falls is one of the must visit places in Thika because it offers a unique place to spend a few hours alone or in the company of friends and family. Marvel at the beauty of the 27metre waterfalls. This attraction is known as the 14 Falls because there are actually 14 of them cascading down the cliff.

I remember one of the tour guide requested us to use the foot path in the name of its shorter compared to the other path...my friend it was a scam but thank GOD I REACHED THE SUMMIT AND WAS PROUD OF MYSELF..Worst mistake I never had a cap till now am nursing my sun burn
