Hi Jim, thanks a lot for the great review. The AC Hotel in KL looks really different from most of the AC Hotels in Europe. I always like to stay at the AC brand, as you usually get a very good value for money. Usually a quite solid affordable hotel brand. We just stayed again in two different AC hotels on our Spain trip and definately did not get disappointed. Have fun in Okinawa and best regards to Shaun.

Usually AC hotel is very very basic, it’s a good hotel for a transit and work trip.
I think Europe’s AC hotels are better and newer.
I’m going to complete the ride soon! And the. Will have a grand trip with shaun next month ^_^

Great review Jim. Everytime I'm in KL I can't go past the Majestic Hotel old wing or the old school KL Sheraton, it's very grand. I might try this next time. Hope you recover quickly
Hi Nick, try to email the hotel if you going to have long stay, it was really really affordable with free breakfast and laundry! It’s a very basic hotel but totally value for the price!
I can’t wait for the stones removal in Malaysia, I just booked the treatment in Taiwan this 16Mar :p

This hotel is really not bad for the price, it's walking distance to two train stations and no bad traffic there.

located near the hotel is where you can find the famous Hokkaido Seafood Restaurant.
I had 3 dinners there and think average leh

this hotel used to be called vistana hotel.. but why did it change its name??
Think all Vistana rebranded as AC hotel, same as the one in Penang.

But I’m not sure about the wheelchair accessible room layout , the hotel just done a full renovation early 2024.
