- The ABS module was not sending pressure signal to anywhere. 5V reference to the sensor was 0. Replacing the ABS module fixed this issue.

There is a power fuse under the hood. Check it. The Chevy dealer in Greenville Texas wanted $900 to fix the service trailer brake light . My son put in a $5.00 fuse and fixed it. Talk about padding their commission. Crooks.
What fuse? I'm having the issue and there's nothing labeled "Trailer Brakes" in the fuse box. Thanks
These gmc and there wild goose chase trailer brake controller issues. Good hell. Mine is a ign circuit voltage issue, the tbc doesn’t think it’s getting voltage but it is. Thrown all types of new parts at it but still having the same issue. About to get to an aftermarket controller but then I’ll have to deal with the light and warning on the dash. Yeesh.
I’m having same issue, and manual states “the fuses for these two circuits(red-battery feed/dark blue-trailer brake) are installed in the underhoid electrical center, but the wires are not connected. They shoukd be connected by your dealer or a qualified service center. The fuse and wire for the ITBC is factory installed and connected if tge vehicle is equipped with an ITBC. The fuse for the battery feed is not required if the vehicle has an aux. battery”
You have a bideo on how to hook those up?? Lol
Unfortunately I do not have a video on that
Can you just put a aftermarket controller and bypass it?
Yes however it will still pop up “service trailer brakes” on the instrument cluster all the time
@@Tech-28 oh okay thanks just replaced the relay and it worked for a bit while towing then it went off saying to service trailer brake system again and kinda over it lol since I do tow pretty often ima just use a aftermarket one lol
