    When you’re so used to having a child almost every year, how hard is it to stop? Having babies can take a big toll on you physically and mentally and, for these supersize families, that toll has been multiplying constantly.
    On this episode we see what it’s like for the parents of these supersize families to recover from or keep going with the baby train, and how they manage to cope.
    In Sunderland, mum of 11 Amanda Allan is losing weight and enjoying getting her life back on track so much she wonders if enough is enough. But her husband Tony - mechanic and pigeon breeder - wants even more. Will Tony be able to sway Amanda with his cheeky charm or will the soon-to-be grandparents be dissuaded by the constant reminders from their embarrassed 15 year old daughter.
    Meanwhile in Dundee, Mormons Roy and Emma Hann are both keen to expand their 12 strong brood. But with 43 year old Emma still breastfeeding 19 month old Posy several times each night she’s exhausted and it’s taking her longer than usual to conceive. Nurse Roy is also away several nights of the week for his job so this adds to the already growing pile of obstacles they are trying to overcome. With finances stretched, energy levels flagging and time running out will she have to concede that enough is finally enough?

    It's easy for them to have babies because the older children are the ones that end up raising the younger ones.

      These parents could not afford to pay their older children any wage as they are constantly having to mind their siblings while mom and dad sit on their collective asses getting fatter and lazier by the minute! This is child abuse! These kds should be the soul responsibility of the parents that gave them life and not the older children.
      Its no wonder they care not of the numbers of kids under their roof as they have zero responsibility in the day to day care.

    Im all for big family's, if the parents can keep their control...but it seems like the Hanns have lost control. They need to figure out how to control their two boys before having anymore. Because theres no way Enos should be able to spit in his dad's face and not get punished...
    IN MY OPINION.

    • @idontreadreplies1731
      @idontreadreplies1731 4 ปีที่แล้ว +67

      I never physically punished my child but you're right. If those children have the gull to spit in their own Fathers face, they will do it to anyone. I can't think of anyone that would be so kind about it even (some especially ) from a child. When people have children they can't control it is the rest of us left to deal with it and that's not ok with me.
      Edit: The more I watch that child with the rest of his siblings, I would be very concerned adding more helpless children to that situation. He is going to end up seriously hurting one of them.

      I think so too. There is nothing more specical than the bond a mother has with her baby, especially when they're born. I have a three year old and a one year old and the one year old is attatched to me. It's pure bliss and an incredible feeling, and I think that some women are ADDICTED to that feeling of having a baby and the love/bond they recieve in return. (there's also a lot of attention a woman gets). Sitting here thinking about it, I would love to experience that again for a third time. However, reality sets in and at this moment in time it would be selfish of me to have another because my three year old is special needs and requires more. I would need more help and I don't have that. We would also need more space...so me personally I would just feel that I wouldn't be able to spend enough time and attention with the ones I already have. These women are addicted to having babies !

      What charity would take dirty socks? I volunteered to help watch my neighbor's son and got his school clothes together the night before and he never had clothes. I bought PJ's, t-shirts, underwear, shorts, pants and socks. I would buy 6 socks and the next week he didn't have any. This went on for months. One day the high school aged daughter saw me trying to find 2 socks that matched and she said that if she couldn't find a mate, she threw it out. That's when I found out that they were taking the socks that I bought for the son. I was never paid for my time, my expenses or food for the child and his parents were professionals. He didn't have sheets or pillowcases and when I bought some for him they disappeared also. The boy and I had a great relationship but I was becoming resentful of providing for the entire family and broke it off. The parents expected me to go to parent teacher meetings and doctor appointments and make sure his homework was done. He was the youngest of four with 8 years separating him from the oldest 3. The other 3 had portraits hanging all over the house but there was not one of this child. It was so sad because he was a perceptive child but I never commented on it as he talked about the other's pictures.

    Honestly, these parents just love being the world to a helpless baby, but once the kids grow older they start going their own way and the parent has to deal with the slow loss. And they compensate the pain with having another baby. But that ultimately always results in having less time for the older children... having a big family is great, but you have to stop at the point where you can no longer provide each child the necessary attention, otherwise the older childern will take on the role of the missing parent which is never healthy.

      When God gives you children, He also gives you some blessings to be able to raise them. Where there is a will, there is a way.
      A number of countries now have a population deficit. Too much birth control. Not to mention tragic abortions. Children are blessings from above.
      So many people deprive themselves of such choice blessings.

    • @bankstownbanditz
      @bankstownbanditz 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Ahhhh I can’t breach that abortion topic because I feel we may clash heads. Each to their own I guess

      Yeah I realize there are many opinions out there. I also do know that good people wanting to adopt a baby, wait for years and years. So in my view I think that adoption is a better choice, because life is better.
      I hear that mothers never forget. Sad.
