I am an independent Scentsy consultant from Dawson Creek BC, Canada and have been a lover of all things home fragrance and bath/body for many years. I love connecting with other home fragrance fanatics and sharing thoughts!
All opinions are my honest opinions, and everyone’s nose is different, so what I think may differ from what you think, and that’s what’s so fun about this! I also try to include information like duration and strength of scents whether I personally like them or not, to help you make informed purchasing decisions.

I had great performance with Simply Vanilla. It lasted for days and days and days in a mini warmer in my master bathroom with the door open. I changed it out at 4 days I think and could still smell it. I really love these wax wars videos!! My vote is for the toffees!
Your the best!! Loved the video! yess! Vanilla bean buttercream was a POWERHOUSE for me in my 25 watt ceramic warmer!
I love Vanilla! I have all three of these scents in my club(s). Each of them serve me in a different way. Sugar Cookie is my mixer. I tone down everything with that. My last mix was with Mandarin Moon & it really helped tap down the strong orange-ness that I found somewhat overwhelming. Vanilla Bean Buttercream is a kitchen bakery that I use when I’m warming other cozy winters scents in my main living area. It is sweet & pairs well with autumn/Christmasy/winter wax. Simply Vanilla - I voted like crazy for that one - functions like the other two but because it is “Simply Vanilla” not too sweet, not too buttery it is my go-to vanilla in my kitchen if I am warming a more floral/perfume-y/masculine/woody fragrances. I also like it on its own in my bedroom or in my office. You did a great job describing them all!! Thank you. I vote for the “pinks”!
I’m really enjoying Simply Vanilla, but honestly my favourite vanilla right now is Vanilla Waves. I wish it came in more options like pods.

I vote for the toffee's! This was great Robyn! I agree 100% Simply Vanilla was also my #1 and went straight into my club. The little tail end of your plant had me thinking there was a hair on my screen! I tried to wipe it off two or three times and then panicked thinking my screen was cracked before I realized it was your plant!! 🤦♀️🤣
Hahaha my Hoya is trying to find something to grab to vine onto, I will tuck it back into itself!!! It does look odd hanging down like that! 😂
My favorite vanilla scent is Vanilla Bean Buttercream. But I'm so glad you did the vanilla wars. I find Sugar Cookie very light. I am going to try Simply Vanilla because of your video. Please keep doing Wax Wars. It's so different than the other Scentsy consultant videos.
I hope you enjoy Simply Vanilla! It really blooms when you warm it so don’t panic if you don’t love it on cold.
Vanilla bean is my favorite only because it’s more sweet and complex to me. 🥰 boy am I glad you caught that playdough scent too! I also adore vanilla waves, vanilla oud…. Vanilla in general is so fun!

Thanks so much for this indepth review of vanillas, I love both simply vanilla and vanilla bean butter cream, and use them differently. Love to hear about the pinks, just trying pink haze for first time, and it's lovely but so so light!

Voting for the toffees please ❤️ and I put simply vanilla in my club also , it’s so beautiful! And I have yet to warm sugar cookie on its own, I’ve only used it as a mixer. Kinda wanna warm it to see but might just get a brick and some bars and stock up. Ugh I’m having such a hard time this month with the BBMB and scents that are leaving the catalog for my club decisions! 😅

I love Huckleberry Sage, and I’ve never smelled Air of Adventure, so for that reason alone I’m voting for the Greens!

This is fun! I love the nerdy details! I'm still deciding between Vanillas in my house but I don't think any of them are going to be Clubbed. I like Vanilla, but bakery isn't my first love so I think at the moment any Vanilla will do. LOL! Yep, I said it.

@@RobynH LOL! I need all the really spicy orange and "weird" scents. I'm one of those who likes Fairy Tale Pumpkin, although I think I'm not on the Casting Spells bandwagon. That one went all kinds of directions for me, most of them not good. But I even liked Roll the Dice. Not enough to put in my Club though.

Love Vanilla Scents and I love all 3 but none are going in my club. I love Vanilla Waves as well so I am fine with that one even though that one is a bit different with the salty -and caramel notes, I feel like it’s a better performer because of that. Vanilla Oud is my favorite and I am kicking myself for taking that one out of club. I would love Scentsy to do a vanilla ice cream cone 🍦 scent 🥰 I vote for the Pink show down 🕺💃 These are fun! Vanilla Waves is a decent performer if I remember right! I would LOVE Scentsy to do a boardwalk collection this summer - waffle cones, snow cone, cinnamon sugar donuts, etc!

Although I LOVE eating toffee my nose however just couldn't handle salted caramel toffee. I'm now terrified of any of the toffee scents 🤷♀️
My vote is for the toffee's. Great job on the vanillas! I really appreciate your approach and all the data points. I can picture graphs in my head of strength / throw plotted against time. Oh what a nerd I am! 🤓 🤣 I love all the vanilla's, too, but if I could only have one, it would be Simply Vanilla. Good thing with Scentsy club I don't have to make that choice. 😄

I decided to put Butter Pecan in my club as it also has a nice Vanilla base with the hints of nutty and butter. I have SC in brick, Vanilla waves is a bit too salty for me, VBBC is still in the Catalog and I just decided on a few bars of Simply V. I only use Vanilla for mixing.

My lip color in this video was Bite Beauty lip gloss in Strawberry.
Most days/videos I use IT Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quois lip butter in Your Perfect Pink.
I also sometimes wear a mauve lipstick in videos, and it’s Covergirl 24hr matte in Provocateur. 💄

I would have to say your same order, simply vanilla, vanilla bean butter cream, the sugar cookie. I wish they were all stronger. But love all except sugar cookie. I can smell sugar cookie.
I love this! Almost Vanilla anything is my favourite scent. I didn't try Simply Vanilla as I already love Vanilla Bean Buttercream and Sugar Cookie. I couldn't decide a while back that which one was my favourite. But I think Sugar Cookie is my all time favourite!

I was looking forward to this video all week. I agree that Simply Vanilla is the superior bar. The other two make killer mixers though! I “should” want to vote for the Toffees to be helpful to people making tough decisions….BUT I’m in the mood for the PINK sugar battle please! I vote PINK!!!

I vote for the toffee scents! The only pink that works for me and my nose/space is Pink Sugarberry Mint. The rest I couldn't smell.
We definitely need the "pinks" in time for Valentine's, so that's my vote :) I have all 3 and I'm looking forward to your take. I've pulled these out already to warm when my Valentine's bars ship from my club ;)

If you like Hucklberry Sage for the sort of light fresh note it has, that same light fresh note is in Mandalorian! They’re similar in strength as well, both very light. If you like one I think there’s good odds you’ll like the other!

Thanks Robyn! Really nice reviews, nice picks for future wars! The Mandalorian: Air of Adventure and Huckleberry Sage are very similar with that silver sage! (I definitely prefer The Mandalorian bar better)

Great video! I just discovered Pink Sugarberry Mint, and it's going right into my club Febrary 1st. One of my absolute favourites! I would love to see how Sugar and Pink Haze go against it - so I vote PINKS!

I vote for Toffees. The strangest thing. I cannot smell Simply Vanilla AT ALL on cold. I am now warming it alone to see if I can smell it. Vanillas are so great to tone down other scents. (I believe I learned that from you). It is so interesting that I am learning that the warmer's bulb strength and what the dish is made of (glass or ceramic), makes such a huge difference in how the scents perform. I learned from Patricia G, I think, that the ceramic ones do so much better. Love your videos. I don't know what your occupation is, but if I had to guess, I would say you are a counselor. Your voice and demeanor is very soothing.

Simply vanilla hands down for me. Interestingly, I can’t smell vanilla bean buttercup or sugar cookie when they are melting in my house. 😭 I vote for the pinks!

Great video Robyn, I was looking forward to hearing what you had to say about the vanilla's. I agree all 3 have a purpose and are quite lovely. They all do fairly well in my home in 25 watt ceramic warmers because that is what I have found to perform the best. Currently, I have both simply vanilla and sugar cookie in my club. I started a monthly club, outside of my quarterly, for those two and apple butter frosting. If VBB ever went away I would also add that to my monthly club. Vanilla's (except for vanilla waves- yuck) are a major love of mine both on their own, and for mixing. For the next battle my vote is for the toffee's. Although, if the pinks win I will be curious to see what happens in your home. I did a mix of the 3 pinks last week, in different warmers and zones, and there was one of the 3 that overtook the others. I am curious if you would have the same outcome.

My vote is for the pinks. I want to call them The Pink Ladies. 🤣 With that being said I felt so let down by Sugar. People RAVE about it. I felt it was way too perfume-y for me. I took it out within an hour or so. I love Pink Sugary Mint, and now I’m nervous to melt Pink Haze after not liking Sugar.
Sugar is the most perfumey of the 3 for sure - Pink Haze is sweeter, you might be okay!
I vote the PINKS...I love them all....but Pink sugarberry mint was quite a powerhouse for me so that is my fav! 2nd runner up is Pink haze! Love tht one too! Sorry, i should have added all these comments to one but i was busy at work, lol.

Vanilla Bean Buttercream is the strongest of all the vanillas imo. Maybe if they were warned on 25w ceramic warmers. Simply Vanilla isn't a bakery., it's more perfume is probably why it lasted the longest.

I guess I need to warm simply vanilla. I didn’t really like it in the clamshell so I haven’t warmed it yet. But if I wait too long it will be too late to add it to my club if I end up loving it warm. That happened to me already with Joy and Wonder. I love it, but it’s too late to add to my club.

I was disappointed with Simply Vanilla on cold sniff too , but when u WARM it, it has a Cinderella transformation, at least to my nose. It’s lovely.
I agree with Elizabeth! On cold sniff I was like “okay sure I mean it’s fine but boring and generic”. But it really does get gorgeous warmed up! Give it a warm before the end of the month!!!
