unfortunately i don't think we'll ever see one... miyazaki doesn't like making sequels to his games, he never made one.
DS2 was made by another author because fromsoft's lead decided it was a good money catcher and it had to be done, but now that miyazaki is at the top in the studio, he'll never make a sequel for any game

Magnificent, the atmosphere, you could feel it ..... The dread the trepidation. The everlasting hunt , truly amazing works keep up the great work
Love this dark orchestral style. The visuals are quite nice too. I'm divided on how I interpret the title... whether its a nightmare formed by the great one, or if its the nightmare experienced by it... which must be the Hunter.
Reading the description by the artwork author seems to be the first option... 😉

I know this was a year ago, but holy moly. My dear composer, you make me relive the love I have for Bloodborne. If there is a remake/sequel (fingers crossed) THEY NEED TO HAVE YOU IN THE BOOKS.

Oooh I remember this one it was set in a Desert and the boss there is called "Fauna" a callback to how the Moon Presence was sometimes called "Flora" meaning plants and so this ones name was "Fauna" for animals and you can see him wearing a wedding ring which implies (I think) that he was the "Husband" of either the moon presence or something else oh and the Doll has a really really good fanart there as well one of my favorites
Yee the concept art of that is amazing. They even made Doll into a more dangerous npc and gained a kinda sadistic personality.

It's a great fan insperired ost but one thing I have to say is that it felt like this track was building up to somthing but that thing it's building up to never came
One point of feedback I’d have on this is too be careful of overusing the ostinato. Unless you were going for a minimalistic piece intentionally, I’d encourage you to break up future songs into sections that flow into each other but sound and feel different (not to be confused with multiple boss phases). This entire track is built more or less on a repeated 8 bar loop and I think you have the talent to take your musical structuring to the next level.

This, like Bloodbeast and The Great Curse, is intended to be a boss music where the mood and the main theme remain the same but the intensity changes accordingly to the boss phases.
If you listen, for example, to Sic Parvis Magna, that’s a completely different style cause I tried to tell a story through the music there.
That being said, I really appreciate your feedback and I'll try a different approach next time cause I have to admit that sometimes this structure can sound redundant
Legit feedback. Theme and variationis one of those "simple to do, yet difficult to master" concepts.
Honestly, I could absolutely see a Formless Oedon boss fight having this kind of feel. Sort of like an alternative to tackling the Moon Presence, maybe? Or just go crazy and make the boss a thinner, still massive version of the Old One from Demon's Souls to really service that little connection between it and Bloodborne, lol
My DM included this on DnD session, when my necromancer fight against the heart of the tree of life and it was a truly majestic battle

The title of tbe song implies this sint the monster's theme but what the elderich abomination thinks our theme is and thats pretty damn cool to think the eldeich god sees us and hears fucking boss music
