Connection string for connecting to localhost with MongoDB Compass: mongodb://localhost[:27017] You can also refer to this video of mine where I do it in real time. th-cam.com/video/RsWdj7V2Ojg/w-d-xo.html
You are showing already connected string to connect.... but we are here to know, HOW TO CONNECT IT FOR FIRST TIME... that is we didn't have any used databases early... hope you understand what I'm saying. Please WRITE THE CONNECTION STRING FOR THE FIRST TIME CONNECTIVITY, i.e., If we don't have any RECENTS listed. Hope you understand that part.

after we create database and collections that we can see on mongodb compass is how we create column and that is the important thing that you forget to talk about .
Is it possible to export all of the information from an entire database (not just one collection at a time) and then import all the contents of that exported database into a different database?
I was expecting to see how to create a mongodb compass as a beginner but, it seems with your relactancy you had to go round and dogded . Not satisfied though.
