You are 100% missing the wooden tokens that the players can use, it makes sense as they will get most use? Did you have any luck getting them. I think you did what I did which I’d prefer the deluxe and extra pack of player mats, thicker version.
I was very close to backing this, really liking the concept, map movement and the grid action selection system (similar to that in another recent game, Nova Roma). In the end there were enough minor concerns that I didn't back it, but one I'll definitely be looking for some playthrough videos to see whether those concerns are still relevant.
@iansutton7416 Having just played our first game, I can confirm the board is terrible. The road network is very confusing and the art makes it look like there are paths where there aren't any!

One of those concerns was the lovely yet not so easy to read board, and they seem to have made noticeable improvements to it.

How are the cardboard components? Are they thick and of good quality?
Yeah overall the production quality was pretty high.
