McCord's high water mark...after that he became a wimp, blew the game against Michigan and majorly downgraded to Syracuse. Honestly who leaves OHIO STATE for Syracuse?
you think he wanted to leave? The QB room in Columbus is insane, he would have spent the rest of his eligibility sitting behind BOTH Will Howard and Julian Sayin, hard not to see why he left to go start somewhere else.
From a Buckeye fan, y’all should’ve won. Ohio State got uber lucky on the last play. I wish you Irish the best of luck for this coming season. God Bless and Michigan Sucks!!!!
Really? And end that 35 year natty drought. Sadly, in the new playoff format, if they stay independent, ND will never win another national championship.
most know this by now, but how do the players and coaching staff not know how to count to 11 on not only the td, but 2nd down as well...i know they wasted their last timeout after the spike and obviously on the play before the spike they were in dime, so either your going to go base or heavy at the 1 yard line, either way, even to this day have never been given explanation as to what defensive package was called on that 2nd down play, freeman later said that he was aware that they only had 10, but he didn't want to risk an offside by running in a player late, that reasoning never made sense to me, because from that distance the penalty would have only been a foot and a half...would rather take my chances stopping a team with 11 from getting a half yard, then trying(twice) to stop a team from getting 1 yard with 10?
I am surprised that Ohio State did not take a knee on the extra point attempt. Had ND blocked the kick and scooped and scored the game would have been tied. With only 1 second remaining ND had no opportunity for a field goal.
Last 2 plays of the game Notre Dame has 10 players on the field Unbelievable How does that happen never seen it before in my life That is a complete joke That falls on the head coach Notre Dame is known for being a smart school do they know how to count to 11
1:05:33 To me, that's what cost Notre Dame the game. Never mind 10 men, a third and 18, or a 4'th and 7. A QB sneak on 4'th down with Estime in the backfield?!?!??! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! You have 2 choices, give the ball to Estime, or punt! That spotted Ohio State their first touchdown.
As a Michigan fan. ND should have won this game, they played great defense and controlled the offense. Harrison only had like 3 catches and zero TD. The only thing Ohio state did was execute on the last play of the game. thats it..
If Notre Dame puts an 11th defender on the defensive line they stop the run at the 1 and win the game. How do you have only 10 men on the field in a situation like that. That's all on the coaching staff.
ik even as an osu fan feel bad for notre dame. Refs definitely robbed them. multiple missed calls that could have gone against osu. doesnt matter when we cant beat michigan though
100% Michigan, it goes back to the 1900s. They tried to kill our program, prevented us from joining the big ten. Pretty much banned big ten teams from playing us, fielding yost was anti immigrant anti catholic, and even today their fans are annoying and we're just both too good historically and too close
Ohio State and Notre Dame have only played against each other eight times in total since 1935. Michigan and Notre Dame have played against each other thirty-four times since then, and have played against one another for a grand total of forty-three times across their respective program histories. I think it’s safe to say that the answer is your question is obviously Michigan.
