I winter sowed NJ Tea, it was easy to grow from seed.

I just planted a hedge this summer with plugs. I plan to make tea so hopefully next summer Im excited and hoping to try some

Could this be a foundation shrub or will the roots become a problem for my basement wall?
Yes. It's a tap root so it grows straight down like a carrot. But once established it is not easy to transplant.
How's the fragrance if i may ask
