    Time to get rid of open gutters. We need to sign a petition. Nana addo will listen

      There are other way, the first thing that needs to be done, topography survey to see where rivers streams are where they go. Contour of the land.
      Instead of open gutters, a French drain could be used instead.
      Underground drains ok, problem will be dust/silt, infrequent rain periods.
      The answer is road gullies, underground sand traps to catch sand silt, disadvantage is maintainence, they would need gully cleaning machines to suck sand out.
      No maintainence underground drainage would be a No No.

    When will the Kumasi-Accra road , the busiest highway in Ghana, be made a dual carriageway?
    Why are we not hearing about that project. The only news we hear from Acc-Ksi road are head-on collisions with hundreds of fatalities. Oh Mother Ghana!

    • @samuelagyeman1644
      @samuelagyeman1644 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Part of the highway is already double. The problem spot is Ejisu, Konongo and Odumasi. Looking at Konongo and Odumasi, l think they are thinking of how to divert the road from the town. If they want to do a lot of buildings will go down. That should have been the problem.

    Why so high with be storm drains, filling is so expensive, it doesn't matter if one side is lower than other side, in some cases it would help with water flow anyway.

    What will Ghana lose if we construct the road as a double lane to Sunyani

    nice video but am not impressed with the pace of the work... if it continues this way it will take them 10 years to complete that stretch. Wicked politicians

    Please we need Foot breage.

    • @ukghconst
      @ukghconst 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Foot bridges are expensive, arkward for disabled, it can add nearly 100m or more.
      The use a traffice sensing traffice lights, cheaper, have speed cameras to record traffice number plate recognition.
      Even with a bridge people will still cross the road.

    I feel sad for Nana Addo and the current NPP government. So what were the other governments doing, especially NDC who were in power for 8 years. I think Nana should use the next four years to develop just roads and not stress himself. I feel he is putting too much pressures on himself.

    Again the designers planners miss many things.
    You have 3 lanes of traffic, going through this village/town, cars are parked on the inner lane, causes main flow traffic problem's.
    Road markings are hit and miss, not international standards.
    Contractors lack knowledge in new tehchnology
