It’s only done for better air flow to cool the engine and so the turbo can get more air and breath better probably not running a stock turbo and got an upgrade

The Hicas system was used back in 1989 on the first mitsubishi GTO, it was used on the z32 300zx, the mk1 and mk2 aristo V3.0 and V300. The AWS was even used on the mid 80's Honda Prelude. Very nice collection though. Love the mix of gaming and cars. Exactly my sort of thing. New fan here 😁
