Did you see that at the end he warned the audience not to clap, because the orchestra had not finished yet?
Now a must see. On the Arnau tour he did a completely vocalised version that made people in the audience feel levitated.

Dimash is probably the only vocalist who can transition from scatting with a duduk (Armenian flute) to scatting with a violin. Q: What would scatting with a violin even sound like? A: See Dimash

what he says at the end of the video is that it was his sister's birthday, and he wanted to wish her a happy day. You have to react to the vocalise version from Arnau tour, it has everything you loved on this one x 10, with Dimash just sitting on the floor...mindblowing!!

Thanks! As others have recommended, "Vocalise" from Dimash's Arnau concert tour (on his channel) is a must watch! It's an otherworldly version of this song that is sung without lyrics,, stripped down, and improvised throughout :)

The instrument looks like a clarinet. It has the most beautiful sound if the one playing it is good at it. Take care and 💖 from a Swedish Dear.

This instrument is a clarinette. I learned to play it, when I was 11 years old. I am feeling bad old now. It is 30 years ago. As a Teenager I intruduced other kids in first steps playing the clarinette. I am not almost good like it sounded here. I wish I could play so damn good, that I could stand at this stage with Igor and Dimash. But for that, I have practised not enough. Greetings and love from Germany

I am obsessed with Dimash but once in a while I force myself to listen to another highly recommended singer and have found some amazing singers that we in the west know nothing about. If you liked the scatting in this performance and you watch the Ascolta voice only performance that the other dears recommend, then try Gary Valenciano singing Spain on Wish radio. It is a masterclass.

    He’s awesome man!!
I really like his native style scatting
I thought you were going to do more Christmas and after Christmas you would come back to Dimash again but here you go you say.😜
His vocals both low and high are other worldly, there’s a lot of depth in his voice in the low register, more depth than I have though I can sing a few notes lower than him.........at times
It’s really absurd to compare my voice with him 😅😅

I believe that the instrument is a duduk (Armenian flute), such a beautiful traditional instrument. I love when Dimash has traditional instruments in his performances. This performance is stunning and the ending runs & riffs are mind blowing! He holds his finger to his lips at the end so that the crowd will listen to the final notes of the piano before clapping. This is wonderful, and his later vocalization versions of this are fantastic too. Thank you so much. I look forward to your reactions/comments to Dimash!
