Crystal I started to make this beanie and the yarn I was using didn’t give me the results I needed. So instead of frogging my project I continued with the beanie and converted into a hat. Thank you for the tip to give the brim a different look. You inspire me to try new stitches and so many projects that I would just not adventure into.
Love this pattern. I made it as a Christmas gift this evening with a Caron Anniversary Cake. I had to go up to an 8mm hook and it worked out great. Love your clear instructions! Thanks for another awesome pattern!
I'm working on my second one now, i used wool ease thick and quick for the first one and it turned out wayyy too big, now I'm using some studio samples by Nicole, I have my fingers crossed.
I made this hat for me and my hubby in a bulky 6 weight and I love it . I used hometown I use a 6.5 mm for my hubby and it fits him great and I made mine in a 6 mm and mine fit great to. ❤🎉
This is my favorite hat that I have made so far! My mother in-law wants me to make her one too because she loves it so much! Thanks again Crystal! Awesome tutorial, wonderful hat!
Thank you Crystal for a very cool hat pattern! Just finished it in same super bulky #6 yarn. I like my beanies a little looser so I added another row of increases but kept to same row count. Fabulous! I love it! I love your style!
I had no problems with this tutorial. In fact, I have made both patterns and each one turned out famously. Thank you, Crystal. I really thoroughly enjoy your tutorials. I wouldn't know how to crochet anything if it were not for you. I am so appreciative of your calm and clear instructions. Thank you for taking the time to make all of your tutorials for us. Couldn't do it without you sister!
Great tutorial! I've made 2 hats this week. They both turned out lovely. One with bulky 6 the 2nd with 4 weight. Your instructions were perfectly understandable. 🥰
Hi Crystal. I love all your patterns. I’m working on making all your hat patterns. Some of the patterns I have more than one. I have made two hats of this pattern and I bought yarn to make four more.
My wife made this hat today with a bulky 5 yarn. Your instructions were spot on and she is thrilled with it! She used Loops & Threads Charisma yarn . It looks great!
I love making hats and have been enjoying your hat patterns lately. This one is cute, I'm going to go shopping for some #6 so I can make it for ME this time, lol.
Hey Crystal! I think sometimes you read my mind. A very good friend of my sent me yarn for Christmas. It's bulky 6. I couldn't find any pattern i like with that size until this one. Thank you so much. You ROCK!
Crystal, this is so lovely worked up in Hobby Lobby Ivory Tweed. Thank you so much again for your time and splendid tutorials. You are so easy to follow, even when a pattern might be a little difficult for new crocheters, such as myself. I was able to work this up without any difficulty and I am so happy with the results. I will be crocheting a matching scarf. I think I am going to start working these up as Christmas gifts for friends and family with scarfs in matching yarn. I think anyone would be very happy to receive a fine gift such as this. Again, thank you and I couldn't do any of these fabulous crochet items without your help.
Worked out perfectly! I used Wool-Ease Thick & Quick with the 6mm hook and had about 24" of yarn left! Whew! Lol. Great pattern! It was fun and done in a couple of hours for me. I'm gonna add one of those fuzzy balls at the top for cuteness. Thank you for sharing with us! It is truly appreciated!
Awesome instructions. Made my 1st hat thanks to you & your easy instructions. Had to stop halfway on the SC rows, but I'm sure I know where to modify my next one to get the full border. Love my hat!
Very pretty and easy. I made one with Walmart Mainstay blanket yarn. Its a bit too tight for my head but I made it for warm up America so its fine.
