One of my friends said that Bali unique is because it is one of the few rare lands on earth where the ceremony held everyday to send love to the "evil spirit" (negative energy) and also pray to God. It's a basic law that if you keep hating the evil spirit (ghost, negative energy, or whatever it called) they will do the same to you, but if you send them love (never annoy them, praying for them so they can have peace, etc) they will lose the interest to hurt you.
Just look inside you, the more you hate your negative thoughts the more it will annoy you... But once you learn to loved them, little by little they'll disappear and not bugging you anymore...

We basically feel content to be a part of Indonesia.
Unfortunately, a lot of Indonesian seem to be hating us. We are always treated different just because we are not like the majority.
There are several attempts to totally eradicate Balinese culture conducted by the majority on the name of religion. Those attempts are lurked and systematized. We were bombed twice in 2002 and 2005, demolishing over 50% of the islands economy.
Please leave us in peace and harmony.

Ga menyalahkan pihak manapun sih, karna semua org penasaran dgn pantai kuta dibali, ada org yg bilang belum ke bali kalau belum ke pantai kuta. makanya semua org dr berbagai negara mengunjungi pantai kuta bali. nikmati saja prosesnya, karna semua tdk ada yg abadi. lambat laun semua pasti akan berubah seiring perkembangan teknologi dan moderenisasi. tapi kami warga bali tdk akan meninggalkan tradisi adat dan budaya kami walau kini moderenisasi kian menggerus bali.
