We actually have 4 different NXT eras: NXT Black and Gold pre-Takeover, NXT Takeover, NXT UK, NXT 2.0. All of them are amazing in their own way. The pre-Takeover is basically what we have with 2.0 right now; they emphasize in developing talents. The Takeover era makes NXT shifted from a developmental territory into a indy-styled brand. While NXT UK managed to showcases many European talents. Hunter was cooking hard in NXT Black and Gold, I think we can see the same treatment in current WWE. Shawn also did amazing with 2.0. He ables to help newer talents to develop their characters.
Black and gold is the reason why I started watching wrestling again. I grew up watching until 2002 when I stopped for good. I didn't return until maybe 2015. The things they did during that era in nxt changed my view on wrestling forver

That means Mens, Womens, North American, (You don't have to do the Womens North American because correct me if I'm wrong, there's only been one holder at the moment?), Cruiserweight, Tag Team Mens and Womens. Lars vs. Velveteen in The Loser Gets Cancelled Match went to a Double DQ ! Heh heh . Lars had a great throwback look and Dream was super charismatic. But I guess I will leave it at that .
