I’m 58 years old and now I appreciate the history of the island. I’m the grand daughter of a Santiny, born in New Orleans.
My heart belongs to the island.
Thank you for preserving these memories of the farthest south Louisiana; a truly magical and very special place.

Just about every video under lost Louisiana, there is a segment that is missing the sound….
Children are given misinformation in small doses, it is part of their educational experience.
This will prove useful in future historical and cultural manipulations.

The gentleman's speech, not the music was cut. Did he say something that later, was deemed unacceptable?
