Its not arrogance. He may look good in the super league however when playing in a superior league (the NRL) he was a b class player at best. i am a warriors fan and watched every game he played, his defence was appalling and apart from finishing his attack was not to solid either. this montage goes for three minutes and its compiled from 2 seasons thats not good enough from a player with "absolute class".
Rob Kenyon I rate tomkins but he was woeful in the NRL. Did not live up to the hype, didn’t deliver in 2 seasons then bailed on the warriors. When I watched super league highlights he looks like he carves up but he just didn’t do it over here
@@patrickrea1791 He was not a ‘B’ class player. When Warriors would win or lose he’d be at the thick of it. Most notably when the Warriors beat Storm in Melbourne, ST and SJ were on fire. If Tomkins had gone to a better performing side in the NRL, he’d have been better off. He was a shining light for the Warriors. Don’t forget in his 2nd season he was injured for a lot of it
When he was playing in the Nrl he was up against elite full backs, they’re just stacked with talent at that position. Hard to break through as good as he maybe in super league. It’s not a slight, just a fact.

Tomkins 2014 season was all good overall. Scored plenty of try's and set up even more. His defence was a bit dodgie though and he had a couple of errors in him. Unfortunately Tomkins 2015 was hampered badly by injuries. Still was better than Tuivasa-Sheck's 2016 season though, lasting only a few short games before getting a season ending injury, go figure..
as a Warriors fan I think Sam Tomkins would have been better suited to a Sydney club.The Warriors were'nt the right club for him.I think the Sydney Roosters were a better club for Sam, as they are a club that Brits do well at.
Guys a joke.He has not even remotely lived up to that massive contract he got,now he is going back to a second rate comp with his tail between his legs. Thank god we got Rodger coming over from the Roosters next year.
