I'm so glad I found this channel. It's made a lot of my childhood imagery battles play out in some way or another. I'm not joking when I say you guys have my dream job. Paint game but teach how to play and have a ton of fun.
Ya know, that's something I wish they would add to the game; destructible terrain. Have walls, sandbags and such with their own def and wounds. I mean, a tank should be able to crush and sit on destroyed terrain.
So now I need another set or 2 of death guard terminators in my life, to fight the 5 full squads of blood angles ive allready have. I love the way death shrouds played out. Ive not used them before
I would love to see a game with the 7th edition facing/weapon arc rules. Nowadays I drive all my leman russes backwards just to take the mickey out of the rules.

Do the Deathwing terminators w/ storm shields not have a 4+ invulnerable save because of the new storm shield rules, or are they just not playing with that yet?
it's pretty late, but i have an idea why the spawn exists. the terminator that was turned into a spawn was the champion of the unit that displeased nurgle with words more appealing to slaanesh than him and as punishment was twisted and corrupted totally into a mindless, pus filled heap of a spawn to 'properly' spread the many diseases of nurgle.

quick question. the rules state that the hull of a model is any part of the model. wouldn't that be an unfair advantage for some tanks that have long barrels or if someone mods their weapons to be longer for increased range?
At about 59:00, its hard to tell, but i think the DA librarian was close enough to the land raider to get look out sir against the plague marines that shot it
No he wouldn’t get it as he was closer to the terminators than the land raider. Rule is “cannot shoot a character while it is within 3” of a vehicle or monster unless it is the closest target
With the rare rules in the main book it says attacker always has priority when it comes to wounding and strats so what does that mean when trans and vets happens and vets is attacker or vets and fortress goes off
Honestly, in my own opinion, everyone is overhyping armour facing. 7th was a mess and just had a lot of rules that felt a little arbitrary and just bogged down the game. I can see why people like it but it just made everyone turtle up their vehicles.
I feel so bad for the poor death guard. You guys should redo this with all loyalists or all chaos. At least until chaos marines get their, hopefully, better rules
I feel like there was a big mistake made in the deathguard list by not having foul blightspawns. They seem very strong in this matchup. The fight first would make the DG Terminators horrifying to charge into.
I don't think Typhus can join any Plague Company except the Harbingers. The Ferrymen are nice but Typhus shouldn't be playable. Hence I always take him in a separate patrol detachment.
He indeed can be taken in any plague company. What changes is that he never gets any keyword for being included in a plague company, unless that plague company is the harbingers.
I'm painting at the moment my 22 Plague Marines, my Lord, Demonprince and Deathshrouds have to wait until I'm done. My Poxwalkers are already painted.^^ Afterwards my Ork Army awaits hehe
Steppenwolfmother I reread the rule. They do have bolter discipline, however because it moved and was not in half range, it didn’t get to fire twice. All Adeptus Astartes models have bolter discipline.
Have you guys considered playing the 2001 point bracket to get the extra 6 CP just so you don't have to worry about playing a stratagem that could be used to make the game more fun instead of holding on to them for just in case rerolls etc? Either way thanks for the content, I've been wanting to make a Blightlord list so this has been....enlightening.
I’d be interested to see batreps for other editions (pre 7th since your archives do cover that) played as is. But weird houseruled versions too, with rules cherry picked from all over the place, could be fun as well. I’d assume you’d pair this with silly fluffy and/or themed armies?

It is but then u can also shoot at those bits making them harder to hide. It balances out in the long run

It will be faqed to be unmodified 1s. But, for the time being, 1s are still subject to modifiers
