    I have been waiting for someone to review this bike for ages now! I think the 500 would be a fantastic bike! Can’t wait to see what you think of it.

    Actually that’s a nice bike for nipping round the countryside on. Not too heavy and a good price! Thanks for that and look forward to the test ride.

    Dobry den ;)
    I was going to buy this motorcycle here (in Sweden), the 450cc, but my caution about future spares for it made me buy the Kawasaki KLX230 instead, a quieter and lighter bike more suitable for my nightly explorations of urban areas.
    Now I'm wondering, did you do a review of the KLX230? Because I'd love to see you do one, the KLX230 is a simple enduro bike with lots of low range torque.

    We don’t get half of the great bikes here in North America as Europe. So sad!

    500cc or 450cc?

    Interesting review. Not so keen on the bike, and it needs to be no more than 5,500 GBP.

    Chinese engined though , reliability may be an issue going forward ...

      Really?

    • @EllisBurton3339
      @EllisBurton3339 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@annysyusciandika879 Yes, the chinese are not on the same level of Japenese products , they bought the designs of Suzuki for example but they make the engines themselves using inferior materials so quality is poor hence reliability will be affected mid to long term .

    • @EllisBurton3339
      @EllisBurton3339 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@annysyusciandika879 Yes good point , manfacturers are locating their production in third world countries because the work force costs are criminally lower than in The UK for example , but quality control standards are implemented , using high grade alloys , inspection standards etc , they also underpin this with quality training for their employees , but over heads are significantly lower hence higher profits .

    40bhp is a tidy number, too tidy for me. I think it's between 35 and 40 in reality.

    • @axeami1354
      @axeami1354 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      i think 43 is the official number, but you're probably spot on with 35 probably being whp.

    Look like another Chinese bike with a famous Italian name, just like SWM.

    • @JFMotorcycles
      @JFMotorcycles  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well I see some decent differences between SWM and Fantic. First of all SWM use an variant to Shinerai/Mash 400 cc engine (originally from Honda XL) same as loads of other parts from the Shinerai. Whereas Fantic uses way more potential water-cooled engine which they (as far as I know) designed. In the end it is no doubt also manufactured in China but at least something. For example on their Fantic Caballero 125 they even use the engine from Yamaha WR125 which is not bad :)

      @seniorbarends 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JFMotorcycles True and it sure looks better than SWM and Mash and such. Good for Fantic, it used to be really cool brand back in the days.

      Difference is that fantic produces in italy and ONLY the engine is created in China, from one of the biggest companies that produces engines (zongshen, 1.000.000 bikes a year). All the other parts are developed and created in Italy. Cheers!

      @@XxTheJackass58xXThat's a relief! It's a nice looking bike but for the same price I'd rather buy a SV 650.

    • @XxTheJackass58xX
      @XxTheJackass58xX 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@seniorbarends why would you "rather"? At the same price you're choosing between two completely different bikes. One is a naked classic bike, which everyone has or had as a first bike. The other one is a scrambler that allows you to have fun in every condition, reliable (fantic produces motocross mostly, so they know how to deal with engines). I personally own a mt-07 and I'm planning to switch to this one for the simple fact that the caballero is more funny and has better suspension, brakes, wheels, chassis, more lightweight and unique style.

  • @CyberGasty
    @CyberGasty 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    As much it was interesting in the beginning, now with all this neo-retro shitload of scramblers it became corny.
