Please don't think you don't have eternal life. Jesus said everyone can have eternal life and be saved as long as they put all their faith on the Lord Jesus Christ as their only way to heaven. God gave the free gift of eternal life to everyone, and that includes YOU and me. Salvation is very simple and easy because Jesus did all the hard work already. We simply need to trust that Jesus Christ's finished work, His death, burial, and resurrection, is sufficient for our salvation. When you know where you put your trust, you KNOW that you also have eternal life. 1 John 5:13 KJV These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God; THAT YE MAY KNOW that ye have ETERNAL LIFE, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. The fact that you're thinking about God says that you have faith in a God to think about. No doubt bad things happen to us and can make us feel hopeless about ourselves and/or others, but this does not mean that God doesn't love us as the individuals that we are. The prophet David exclaimed that he was wonderfully made. He wasn't perfect. We don't have to be perfect for God. It is impossible. Try to find a pastor and church that can welcome you into its own heart. I'll pray too. I'll pray that the comfort that surpasses all understanding be with you. And the Holy Spirit finds anybody where they're at.
