Growing up I used to ship Charlie and Mo together, then when I matured I started loving how they did NOT end up together. So many people treat her like a villain just cause she didn't like him, but she didn't owe him anything for simply being decent. She gets to make decisions for herself and she wants to go back with her kinda shitty ex then okay, I guess. But she didn't NEED to be with Charlie, I'm glad they did that now.
Agree, I’m tired of men thinking women owe them a romantic relationship for just being a decent human being, I was also young when I watched this and didn’t realize Mo had every right to reject him
the original story of the book this is based on is so wild 😭 olivia’s parents had her when they were in high school, with her mother not wanting olivia and leaving her with the father who ends up committing armed robbery and manslaughter; wen hates his new step mom but also is sexually attracted to her and charlie is dealing with the death of his twin brother that occurred during their birth wild stuff 💀
To answer your question only one member of the cast pursued music long term, and that is Hayley Kiyoko (Stella). She really rose to fame in her personal music career with the release of her song 'Girls like Girls'. She is also one of the few, openly lesbian artists, and is nicknamed Lesbian Jesus by the fans.
I think what's funny is that some of the most liked and praised dcom movies are the ones that are music related but aren't musicals at least those are the ones that I like the most and see at the top of lists.
There’s a Disney original with Corbin bleu and I’m pretty sure it’s called Jump In. Watch that. Also… it’s so not Disney but I saw Legion, so I have to mention it. There’s an older movie with Paul Bettany (Vision) called “Legion” and it’s such a great guilty pleasure.
Honestly, Lemonade Mouth and Let it Shine are probably my two favorite DCOMs (though the Descendants movies do have my favorite character from any DCOM ever, in the form of Uma).
I found this out the last time I watched the movie, which is the version I have on my hard drive and watched on deployment, but there is a post credit scene where the band is on a tv show getting interviewed!
YES YES YES DO LET IT SHINE! Its my all-time favorite movie of all time- growing up black there's was always the token black character in disney shows and movies but rarely a full on black cast so it was like a big part of my childhood! 10/10 would recommend!
I’m glad Mo didn’t end up with Charli. They had no chemistry but then his reaction to her respectfully turning him down solidified my dislike of him. Like bro just bc you confess to someone doesn’t mean they have to accept. And while I wasn’t ecstatic about her ending up with Scott at least they had chemistry and he seems to have changed at the end
This movie and Jump In! are probably my favourite DCOMs of all time. Would definitely recommend Jump In for a next commentary, it has the icons Corbin Bleu and Keke Palmer.
I didn't know their was a book that lemonade mouth and when I was young I watched this movie quite a bit even had my mom watch it with me I never knew because back than I never went behind the scenes of shows or movies I watched so I wouldn't have known
Starstruck is terrible but it's in my top 3 favourite Disney movies. Let It Shine however is SO bad that I can't even rewatch it but the songs...different story they hit DIFFERENT.
No one has reacted to this Disney show and I'm not sure if you would like it but I hope you react to Austin and Ally it's a Disney show that has 4 seasons and premiered in 2011 at first I didn't think I would like show but it turned out to be one of my favorite shows and season 2 is my favorite season the show really starts to get good at that point
Omgggg u have to watch starstruck its legit just a Disney version of a wattpad story with a teen pop star and a "not like other girls' girl enemies to lovers style all accompanied by some true bops 🎶I wanna be your heeerrooo🎶 Ahh peak Disney 😍 😭 And Let it Shine was such a good musical 😫🤩 one of disney's finest (also reminds me of nickedeon's 'Rags' surprisingly) and was the first time I ever heard rap and gospel music lol (I'm Muslim so I've never encountered either of them) Great content for videos here 😅
God twitches and twitches too, pixel, motorcrossed,on the right track, under the bed( boogeyman), Halloween town movies those are my favorite older disney movies
ok, naomis character says that she plays the violin but in the scene where she plays she is playing a fucking viola, the bow is going all over the place, her fingerings are wrong and she holds the instrument and bow wrong. I play the violin and i can tell you that hurt my soul to see
Starstruck is basically a rips off The Biggest Fan, a Nickelodeon film featuring Dream Street which includes Jesse McCartney. I love both films but The Biggest Fan was always my favourite ❤ Shaun should watch both.
The girls name is probably Monique or Monica, but they call her Mo, it's a nickname. Just like Billy is the nickname used for guys named William. But you can't touch Sean, he's probably Johnny John, like Tommy Tom, or a Lemon bomb.
Her dad killed somone in a armed robbery to suport her thats ehats we learned in the book its best to say with no other info thats the most likely cannon

✨Starstruck✨
LET IT SHINE PLZ
I think the reason why this was so well casted was that all 5 of them can sing and play their instruments. An incredibly talented cast!
Bridgit Mendler’s music SLAPS! Hurricane? Ready or Not? Classics
'let it shine' and 'jump in' are some of the best all black disney channel movies
Did the ending of lemonade mouth take place months later

Bridget did for quite a while too tbh
Naomi Scott as well, she did music for a bit releasing some EP’s until being in Aladdin and she recently came out with a single a couple months ago
@@EpicGabby24 She mentioned coming back to music next year since one of the PhDs that she’s working on should be wrapping up soon.
Bridget mendler has albums tho…

I was waiting for Sean's reaction at 25:26 and I wasn't disappointed🤣
yes, that was the actual actors singing!!

Such an amazing movie. I love this a lot. All of them are singing in the movie.
Honestly, Lemonade Mouth and Let it Shine are probably my two favorite DCOMs (though the Descendants movies do have my favorite character from any DCOM ever, in the form of Uma).

Let it shine is a classic i grew up with
It’s one of my favorite DCOMs of all time it’s a great movie it’s far a mess it’s just amazing and good songs
Olivia’s dad went to prison for robbing a department store
2:53 to be fair in Twilight it really was a thing Bela being the new girl because EVERYONE on the school knew each other since little kids 😂
The amount of times Sean says kills, like it was a drinking game 😂
14:38 lol you don’t know who Tisha Campbell is she played Gina on Martin and she sung on there plenty of times 😂
She's also Jay on My Wife and Kids 😭
They all sang themselves and Wen really rapped. The music here is so good
lemonade mouth will forever be my favorite Disney movie
This movie and Jump In! are probably my favourite DCOMs of all time. Would definitely recommend Jump In for a next commentary, it has the icons Corbin Bleu and Keke Palmer.
starstruck!!! omg! u are probably gonna hate the main girl, lol, but well i love her anyway
If you want an all black cast or at least majority minority from Disney then you need to watch The Cheetah Girls.
