My husband was stung 3 times with a yellow jacket yesterday . He went into shock, had blurry vision, passed out briefly. His ankles starting turning blue, then purple and a rash began up his legs. I had called the ambulance and first, 2 emergency paramedics arrived first. He lost all strength and had to lie down. Finally the ambulance showed up. The hospital was just over half an hour away. He was given 5 shots of epinephrine, but was getting worse. At the hospital he was given cortisol thru iv and given antihistamines. Last night the rash was pretty severe, early in the morning it disappeared but later on, the rash came back. He now carries an epipen everywhere he goes. So weird cause he wasn’t allergic before

I am severely allergic to shellfish and fish, and I also have asthma,so I always carry EpiPen and rescue inhaler Albuterol in a pouch around my waist, and I recently got a medical alert bracelet, I urge everyone who has a medical condition to get one,I am very careful about what I eat, read labels, my family know about my medical condition, they always check on me at least twice a day 💉

All the probably won't be divided from a cat 1 but sirens can travel far and it might not be for you. Also could be police or fire.

I just thank my lucky stars I am *NOT* allergic to bee stings. I am allergic to amoxicillin, though (amoxicillin is an antibiotic)

Hey Holly. I'm sure that's rough to go through and I'm sorry to hear it. It's been a few months since you posted this comment but I want to check in. Are you still having the panic attacks? I used to get them too. Found that the two main treatments for my anxiety are 1- talking to somebody I'm with about how I feel or calling my dad & 2- focusing on my breath. When the anxiety takes ahold I repeat to myself "I am safe. I am still breathing."
