Someone with a degree but without the right attitude is a loss .you would rather have have someone with the right attitude with basic knowledge.. Education is now more of a mandatory thing in Zim rather than something that's going to bridge the gap
But insome cases a degree is needed for example me am in biotechnology l work for a company which produce bacterial cultures for yoghurt, those things you need to go to university to have the skills its not something you can self learn
Our education systems needs to be improved. I did sciences at O level , Arts at A level and then at university i did Business Mgt and IT. I now work as a full time software developer. hahahahah. Students are also confused and i blame the system
The problem too, is the culture and indoctrination. Africa's economy needs to develop based off of the resources in the ground, there needs to be an emphasis on more trade and vocational education first, than college degrees. Universities in America are not producing the kind of employees that employers want. And employers are not in the business of making you rich, they are bringing in people like immigrants and investing in technology, that can produce more, with less effort and pay. So a degree is not what it seems in todays climate
Can you really tell me the truth jerry . Are you your self paying 100% commission. I tried to use that but i lost 2 candidates after i even say will give them $100 cushioning allowance
Very informative and educative
Wow
There is also a need to shift from employee oriented education to creating innovative people
