[2021/22] KDK exhaust fan 15WUD

At a friend’s house. Installed sometime late 2021/this year. These fans spin surprisingly quickly, and can be loud when in an enclosed space with little room for airflow - such as this one.

May I ask How's the set up like? is the fan sharing the power source with lighting; meaning the fan can only turn on upon turning on the lights? What if i just want to leave the ventilation on even when toilet ligthing is off.

Hi, for this particular unit the fan has its own power source so it can be turned on by itself.
Though if you’re installing it in an existing bathroom, there might be a bit of wiring work involved in order to separate the light & fan, there will be an ugly wire casing along the light switch, do take that in mind.
