I had 22 fibroids removed in 2017 through myomectomy. Best decision ever. Sending all the healing energy. One thing that's helped with not returning was eliminating dairy.
I’m glad to come across your story here. I have similar symptoms like you since I was 18 years old and as I am older now. I can’t even go work when my menstrual starts. Gonna have my surgery to remove my fibroid next month. The thought of surgery scares me. Thanks for sharing your story.
Thank you for sharing Rosa, it is not easy to go through it. You're so brave for sharing and spreading your knowledge with us, women! I'm monitoring my fibroids too but had no idea it was causing my stomach to blow up like a balloon before my period. And i thought i was just gaining weight. 🤷♀️ Although mine are small but the bloating does make me look like I'm pregnant. And i get the worst back pain from it too during my period. I hope you're recovering well, I'll start following you and see how you're recovering. This is my first time viewing, thank you so much for sharing. Take care.
Your welcome! Yes the bloating was a first for me I’ve never had my whole life and last 2 years it started and just got worse as each period they grew larger. My stomach is back to flat now and I had my first period after surgery with no pain praise god! I planning to post a video this weekend with updates❤️
Thank you for sharing. I’m having the same procedure on Wednesday as well. I get more nervous as the day draws near but I know that God will make everything alright. Sending prayers your way.🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing! I’m going through the same thing. I was told I need surgery. I wanted an UFE but was told surgery was much better but I’m so nervous 😩
Your welcome! I def wanted to share info of what I couldn’t find online. 5 days out of surgery now they found a lot more than 7 and big so Ufe was def not for me. Will post an update soon. ❤️
Thanks! I don’t think it’s just diet for me. I’ve been vegan, avoided high estrogen causing foods, plant based etc. I think more hormonal and stress related growth. Getting a naturopathic provider soon❤️
Tysm for sharing Rosa 🥹 I don’t have fibroids but have friends who do and will be sharing! I do have PCOS with cysts and can relate to the period pain + additional symptoms. I commend you for your patience and optimism, I know sometimes the healthcare system can make it hard to stay positive but it’s better for you to always hope for the best 💙 You will be in my thoughts and prayers! Ps. I also keloid and Kim K’s doctor himself told me to use blue light therapy. The correct kind can help prevent them and slow down growth if they’ve started
I had the same surgery in 2017. Couldn't understand why I kept looking 5 months pregnant. And I've never had kids. The best decision removing. Turns out I had 22 total. Sending you good energy.
