A solo violin is imitative of the human voice which during emotive moments does vibrate naturally. If you reject vibrato 100% then you'll miss something.
@@pand9293 I think here there is a lot of emotion even without vibrato, that's why I love so much her recording. She respects some baroc principles and this is really touching .
shockingly powerful and beautiful. I prefer this one to the Hilary Hahn approach (which, btw is also extremely beautiful). Everything played in first position as well, which, these days, is quite unconventional.
Fantastic performance, really simple with clear direction, beautiful - BRAVO, PERFECT!!!
Thank you for posting!
Beautiful and pure performance.
Like a smile on a child's face, simple, therefore perfect, bravo!
Sublime!!!
Sometimes it amazes me how much more you can do in a three-minute Bach solo than a forty-minute Brahms concerto
Totally agree !
Wowwwww
Wow, no vibrato, but really a pure, pristine, clean sound. This is the best I've heard of the Largo. Better without vibrato!
better with , more vibrato = more emotions
@@pand9293 more vibrato = a mask for imperfect technique
