These songs have the most beautiful and unusual melodies . Same with the harmonies . There’re hints of East Indian mudras and chants that are a little bit haunting but pleasing too .
Hey hello, didn't know you guys were all this talented. I am your new sub. Thanks I loved it. Enjoyed the special effects, the sound of the electronic entry incredible. Good job.
For a first music video, this is of very high quality all around. Congratulations. I'm a long-time science fiction fan, so the futuristic aspects (electronic lock, voice-control computer log, etc.) of the video were very cool. Lovely song and performance of same. In case you missed it, I left a comment on "You Were My Home" (vague background particulars). I'm not an industry pro, but I know what I like, and I like what you folks are doing. :-)
Thanks so much! Yes this was our very first music video back when we had cheaper cameras 😭 But we made the best of it! So since you liked sci-fi (which we do too!) I want to ask, what's YOUR perspective on this story?
@@krossyourpath I must admit I'm rather chuffed that you asked. :-) 45+ years of reading and watching sci-fi gives me some context to work with, I think. ;-) The theme of memory and how it's used here is really well done; it's personal, intimate without being invasive, familiar without being oversimplified. Skillfully subtle. To me, the elder woman visits the the hogan (?)(please forgive my mistakes) to relive a time in her life she can't release, even though she's had other relationships (and is currently in one that she obviously cares about [VO of man in car]). This early love of hers was one that wasn't returned, and she's still searching for the reason(s) why. I like the contrast between holding onto a set of memories and the use of technology to do so (because human memory fades). This woman seems to live in the past and the present at the same time in a very fluid way. But she also seems unable to be entirely comfortable with being old (the way she touches her face, how the song talks about her doing her make-up and hair). I'm sure there's tons of cultural stuff that's gone right over my head. But leaving all this analysis aside, there's enough in the story for anyone with a heart to understand what's going on.
@@Norther56 this is by far the BEST review We have ever received! You read the video so well and we thought it was far-fetched! You seriously made our evening and we hope you enjoy the future videos. Awesome review!
@@krossyourpath Aw, shucks. :-) The video succeeds because you trusted your audience. My reviewing skills are a result of the aforementioned 45+ years of reading/viewing, a BA in English, and about 15 years of professional book reviewing. Humans are hardwired for pattern recognition; I've learned to sharpen that skill in certain areas for specific purposes. Plus, if one lives long enough and pays attention, one begins to see patterns in a lot of things, both micro and macro. That's kind of my jam. :-) Glad to have made your evening a bit brighter.

Who Is that girl? The one at the end when they showed the band name? I didn't see her playing or singing in the video.
Nyra Gustof That's Kolette.
If she's in the band why wouldn't they let her be in the video? That's kinda messed up.
Love this song...
