I happen to have an 11 month old Staffy boxer mix and he is soooo lovable, smart yet stubborn. I’m always training and exercising him on a daily basis. He is great with my kid and well loves to chase the cats as the cats chase him as well lol. Great with other dogs and always wants to say hi to everyone he sees! Full of energy but a couch potato at the same time! The only thing that I can’t get a grip on is, when he plays he tends to use his teeth. Not aggressively but playfully and well it hurts. He stops when I say ouch and we stop playing and I walk away, but there are times he doesn’t stop. Need help with this.

we had a chance of buying a STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER when we brought it home and our next door neighbour sore the dog there was an uproar saying they nasty dog i dont like them and we are going to put the fence up higher and my wife said go for it so they did . where as we have had a short wall for about 8 years there is now a higher wall they are such people that you can not explain things to they know it all
Usually you can tell a Staffy (or my preferred term is Pit Bull) by the fact that they killed a child by mauling them. Whereas a boxer will simply knock a child over.
I love love loved this video it’s so UNDERATED! You made this quick short and simple but at the same time detailed enough that everyone gets a good straightforward view of the comparison. It is exactly what kind of video I was looking for! In my opinion they are both lovely sweetheart dogs it’s so hard to decide which to get. ❤
I socialised my pups at a park where loads of people with dogs do not stop to say hi. My pups had to learn that a lot of dogs don’t care about saying hi. It worked.
I guess u r talking about other dogs rather than people? There are some really good vids on counter conditioning out there. I really like kikopup on you tube. But pls expect it to be slow. Also your dog may never want to play with other dogs but if they can walk past and ignore for me that would be success with an undersocialised staffy. Good luck.

I was actually choosing between these 2 breeds . Went with the boxer and very happy but I could of easily chose the staf . Both great breeds!!
Same here, but we choose the Staffordshire, pick her up next week.
