    Love your attitude.
I had Xmases as a kid and had kids and got grandkids and xmas used to be my favorite time of the year.... but... my kids all left home and are not into Xmas except the one who has my grandkids... but her little family os being rocked by eldest grandsons ice addiction so they were not in xmas mood this year.
So no xmas tree up for me this year either. Though... just so you understand some of us.. Xmas isnt a Christian celebration...they stole the tree, the star and almost all the xmas celenration ideas from the pagans!! Same with Easter!
Though...celebrating the Yule tide in our sumer is a bit silly, We still celebrate it as a time of unity and love. Is kind nice having something the whole word can celebrate together.
I do understand that feeling of not being adequate enough at Xmas.
My Mum worked a lot of Xmases as she was a hospital domestic. My husband used to work a lot of Xmases as he is a bus driver. I have spent Xmases completely alone . And as much as I am OK on my own and like my own space... there is that little empty hole there when alone at xmas.
Been 32 years since my Mum passed. I am 58 now. Still miss her.
I envy your resilience to heat!! In summer I am in doors in aircon almost all the time. My body has very very little heat tolerance.
I function good summer nights! If only the world would run MY time in Summer. 8:30pm till 1am!! I can do things outdoors at night!! Unfortunately the shops and businesses wont play my game.

Hello! Thankyou for sharing your story about your own Christmases. Very sad to hear especially the impact of ice addiction on your family.
I think that’s a beautiful way to look at it - something the whole world can celebrate. I shall remember that.
I think we will always miss our Mums no matter how long it has been.
The heat is very challenging for me and I do less and less outdoors these days which is frustrating because I love the beach and bush as much as anyone else. I feel like I’m missing out on so much stuck inside under air con but that’s MS right? Yes I also seem to get a second wind of energy at night when the sun goes down, like a werewolf 😂
