I do be livin', *FACTUALLY.* Soz for the delay; had a run of burnout which resulted in me just kinda slowly chippin' away at this project until it was eventually completed. ALSO, if you don't keep an eye on my Twitter (can't blame you really), some important stuff to catch you up on:
1. I will not be covering Citrine to give me time to work on other projects. Nothin' against the frame, just had to skip her to regain my footing in where my backlog plans stand.
2. Next video is likely going to be another ATI vid ('Anyway, This Is ________'). I'll let you know if I change my mind. Won't reveal what game it's on tho - gonna keep that a secret. After that is likely another WF video, which may be what i mention below, or something different.
3. On the 22nd, I'm gonna be visiting my girlfriend for about two weeks. At the time of writing, that's about a week away, so that unfortunately means I won't be around for Duviri Paradox's release. But I aaammm still considering making a vid on my first go-through of it once I'm back. Shall see!
Regarding that last point, the only reason I'm able to make such a visit is thanks to your guys' support. I know saying "Thank you for watching" is repeated by every single creator under the sun, but seriously - you are literally funding me *and* giving me a reason to learn new skills like animating and modeling. Without an audience, I wouldn't really have a drive to pursue those sorta things. So - as sincerely as I can put into words: Thanks for sticking around and watching, despite my horribly slow upload schedule!

Not having quadrapedal movement AND parkour was such a missed opportunity, imagine having her leap from wall to wall and run on all fours on everything, it's a nitpick but missed opportunity all the same
not having all fours movement is a good thing and the sooner you and everyone else realizes that the better off you'll be because if you took the time to think how dumb people look running around on all fours irl you'd be thankful it didn't make it into the game

Having her leap from wall to wall sounds good on paper, but then you have to deal with the fact that a lot of tilesets have wide open spaces meaning that walls are quite far from one another or there are no walls.

Additionally Voruna is not a people, she is a warframe and thus does not need to have animations that conform to what you'd expect from a human.

Edit: I am a furry myself and I'm telling you this, walking on all fours is done by the weird half. So yes, cringe is being used correctly. We don't need you talk or being offended for us. Finally, think of this, every single time you aim with her, do you really want her to suddenly jerk up and throw you off target? Careful what you ask for people, every choice has consequences. Consequences may mean good outcomes but it also means bad outcomes aswell.

Fun story: I met a dude in warframe while trading and he had the Triburos gylph. I told him that I love Trib as well and he gave me continuity for free. You have a great fan base Trib.
If her 4 counted as a melee to trigger health orb drops from her 3... her kit would be holistic and self-sustaining.

They also need to make it scale off of her melee, so it can actually do decent damage.
They also need to make it either on a timer or a health cost for every attack while giving health orbs on kills with it while the 3 is active so it can be sustained as long as the player can keep the abilties up.
@@StevenTLawson why health cost on attack? So we can pick up the energy orbs? You can already pick up health orbs at max health by equipping synth fiber on your companion.

funny interaction you didnt mention, the 2nd ability spreads its statuses but not limited to 10 stacks! if you apply slash from her 2 and apply a big slash proc( or smaller ones but alot more of them) it carries that slaah dmg to the rest of the enemies! same with all the dots. its not needed in most situations but its fun none the less
not only that, but the damage from the hit that triggers the proc is carried over as well, leading to nukes

Personally, I think getting the health orb is actually the better option, provided that you're running Equilibrium (and Synth Fiber to let you collect it at will). Even before Health orbs got buffed to give 50 health rather than 25, they would still grant slightly more energy than an actual energy orb.

Yeah, and then you can run Arcane Blessing to skip adding HP via build and maybe even use Health Conversion for a good chunk of bonus armor. I love it when frames get some synergy stuff with the more niche mods.

@@texaskeeton1772 depends on how far up you’re going. Any frame besides Inaros or Nidus can abuse shield gating but unless you constantly hit 4 digit levels it’s not *obligatory*. I only really bother with shield gating on frames that I would take there and frames that cannot do any sort of tanking.
@@texaskeeton1772 I mean Valkyr for example can hit 98% DR through armor really fucking easy. It'll keep your ass alive up through level 700 SP as long as you don't fall asleep, and the overwhelming majority of people don't want to be in survival for 20 minutes, let alone hit that point. So shield gating does not invalidate health builds, it's just more efficient for the clinically insane. It's also ironically worse at lower levels, but if the map doesn't disintegrate from your damage from your sheer min maxing at lower levels by the point you care enough to use only shield gating, there's other issues.
She definitely needs Equilibrium in her build.
My favourite build with her is to give her as many sprint speed and parkour mods as possible. The bonuses stack with her 1 and its passive resulting in hilarious amounts of speed. In short you can give Voruna zoomies.

I came back after coming to a startling realization:
Duviri has a decree that gives you a 50% chance to spread stauses applied to an enemy to nearby enemies. You can spread stauses like the plague in 3 steps, 1 being the initial victim, 2 being the decree effect, and 3 being the burst effect.
Holy crap, I may have found my Go-To frame for the Circuit tied with Nidus and Stalker.

i think her 4 should be a switch mode: voruna gets in fours (sprint bonus) with a proper running animation tha can still use all other 3 abilities but removing the ability to jump and using your weapons, the damage of your attacks is calculated just the same. makes the warframe funnier to play and has something to add to the general kit
I personally think that DE really could have done abit better representing the fact this frame is literally a feral werewolf but the fact she has some absurd damage potential is wonderful!
Im just hoping that her power gets a little more properly dispersed across her moveset and the stuff like only getting a health orb is fixed.

You misunderstand Trib, we don't use melee with Voruna so we can use _Raksh_ to buff our *melee...* We use _melee_ with Voruna to effortlessly generate tonnes of health orbs (which recover 55 energy with equilibrium) *TO SPAM MORE RAKSH!!*
Watching a Trib video is so fucking stressful because he’s so funny and even sometimes reveals something that was previously unknown (Like Qorvex’s 4 working with his 1) but he’s so clueless about what is actually strong it’s rage inducing

I never really considered it as being more than one style. You build for maximum range AND do melee. Lycath's Hunt with Equilibrium more than upkeeps the energy costs of constantly casting her 1 and 2, with how much energy you get from health orbs nowadays.
Her 2, her first passive and the mobility boost from her 1 make her so insanely mobile that getting to enemies is a non-issue, which has always been melee's primary issue to be overcome. Thanks to the quirks of Shroud, enemies either can't see you to fight you in the first place, or are already dead. There's not a whole lot of reason to run her 2's passive and/or adaptation unless you're sandbagging a LOT of hits, which you really shouldn't be since zipping around deleting enemies while being invisible half the time means they can't shoot accurately and they die before they get the opportunity to.
And her 2 and her 1 synergize together more than you realize. That's because of how the status inheritance function of her 2 works - namely, the fact that it counts extra applications of the DoTs it already applied with the bite: inheritance takes the total sum damage of the DoT across all of its stacks, and then divides that by 10, and uses _that_ to calculate how much damage the inheritance should use.
What this means that, one third of the time, her 2 will proc Slash.
What this means is that, when this happens, you can use Shroud to force even more extra powerful slash procs with every melee hit.
Even if the enemy takes so long to kill that all the other status effects drop off, as long as one of those status effects keeps getting new applications, that lone status effect will still be inherited by other nearby enemies when it dies.
*THIS* is why Voruna using melee just seems to occasionally delete entire rooms. The 1-in-3 odds of getting Slash paid dividends when your guaranteed-crits+guaranteed-slash melee started adding to the total, and then that total got spread to other nearby enemies. Suddenly that Heavy Gunner you were wailing on put out such a powerful slash proc when it died that nothing exists anymore.
Not to mention that with the addition of Arcane Blessing in the same update, Voruna doesn't even have to mod for health to get big health, since she'll get 1650 total from that one arcane. If you throw Health Conversion into her kit, she has some pretty big armour at all times to boot, making her take almost one quarter the amount of damage she'd get otherwise from that one mod - more reliably than Adaptation by a long shot for those big damage hits that come out of nowhere. This makes it so that Steel Path is pretty much the only thing that can deal enough damage to her to actually have to worry, and that's instantly mitigated by the fact that every kill gives her 50 health back via health orbs.
Between shield gating, cloaking, insane mobility, and insane damage, there is no reasonable reason to ever be taking hits that actually put your life at risk, so melee's travel time drawback is eliminated as both a kill speed wall and a damage liability hazard.
... Also, the headshots do work for melee. Just not RANGED melee. Have fun with that knowledge.

the augment for ballistic battery works really well with the cedo secondary fire. use ensnare and shoot at the clump of enemies from above to delete them with critical electric, heat, or gas procs.

Fun fact I learned from other frames that have access to status immunity: this also includes immunity to knockdowns
I play her as a Berserk cosplay, let me explain:
Step 1) Blast the Berserk OST - Forces. (recommended 1-10 hour versions)
2) Equip Voruna Anukas Helmet. +Repala Syandana.
3) Dye every color as black except energy which should be red.
4) Equip Zhuge Prime to act as a replacement to the wrist-mounted crossbow.
5) Equip Epitath to act as your arm cannon.
5) Equip Zenistar and pick the Dominion skin for heavy blades. Paint the sword grey/black. You get the largest sword in the game.
6) Helminth replace Voruna's 4 with Rhino Roar. Both dmg boost and immersive.
Step 7) profit
Voruna should’ve been a minion based melee warframe, yknow, LIKE A WOLF. First ability should’ve summoned wolves, the number based on power strength, second could’ve been a howl that buffs your and your surrounding allies (like a wolf inspiring her pack), her third could’ve applied status to her melees somewhat like her current third. The final ability I think should’ve been like baruuk’s, working off a bloodlust meter that increases from kills and melee hits from her wolves. Obviously it wouldn’t be shooting wind projectiles like baruuks, rather it would have you dropping onto all fours and prowling around at high speeds with your claws and fangs (maybe healing from kills as well to have some survivability)

So Voruna recently got an augment for her 4 that recharges it from deaths by slash within an area. Not groundbreaking but makes it servicable, though still doesn't compete with subsuming something like Breach Surge over it lol

a bit lazy of an idea but with her 4 not having a unique run animation, likely the charger's animation (infested) could be streched to fit her, as even kids aren't to likely to run on all 4s for the mocap job, the with animations it's likely complex and could f up the charger mutilating it

They might not have limited it to only health orbs for melee on purpose. Let's just say someone wrote an if-else statement that checked first if the kill was melee and then for headshot, it'd only pick the melee option for any melee kills. Turn it around and it would drop energy orbs on melee headshots instead of health orbs.
I guess we'll only really know based on whether they change it or not.

Don’t forget that if you cast her third or fourth while her first is active you stay invisible and increase its timer
ok to be clear with some melee weapons you do just get free headshots with some frequency effectively it happens pretty commonly with valkyrs hysteria slide attacks, and i suspect there are melee weapons that get it with even more frequency with a preferable combo chain.
one thing you can do with the cloak in a pack of enemies is as soon as the jump animation starts you heavy slam into the ground....repeatedly

I'm pissed she doesn't run on all fours in her ult. It just looks stupid when she stands up to walk and then crouches back down again
Shroud of dynar I’d say is still good to have not just for melee for the invisibility and since the invisibility doesn’t break when you use Fangs of Raksh it allows you to be safe while prepping the status nuke. I also found out that it can spread heat inherent damage if you are able to damage the target that fangs of raksh was casted. I put ensnare over ulfruns descent and use nepheri (archon amar’s dual daggers with fire breath) this makes nukes more instantaneous when the status is spread if not more likely. Also since nepheri’s fire breath attack has infinite punch through it primes all targets in the ensnare to have initial heat procs which multiplies the spreading heat status dot damage from the fangs of raksh victim.
I do think melee is the more fun style for her since a lot of her kit is made for it. And now thanks to kullervo and his helminth wrathful advance, it makes melee builds with her so much more effective.

Voruna epitomizes one of my main problems with Warframes. They want to be original so bad they rarely deliver on the promised thematic. Like how Revenant was supposed to be a vampire frame or how Lavos is supposed to be an alchemist (lol, lmao).
Voruna is the biggest offender of this, she's supposed to be a werewolf frame yet any power that barely resembles a werewolf is her 4 which doesn't make her run on all 4 and is relatively useless.
DE was so scared of making the average werewolf uwu pounces on you character they ended up making a Saryn with wolf decor.
Nah, her most effective build is a high crit melee and marked for death over her 4. Tag eximus or heavy with 2, Mark, heavy attack from stealth, room dies.
