Awesome. They will learn more in a weekend there than a year putting around on flat ground. But give them some room. Following that close only takes away from the mind set of trail and tends to make new riders more nervous.
this guy is seriously nice. I would go crazy having to go slow through all that terrain. When I take newbs out on the trail I just say good luck and leave them in the dust. Actually, that's what I say to the experienced riders also.
My mind set with the ladies is totally different. I enjoy slowing down and helping coach them. The confidence they have gained and the progress they have made is unbelievable. I also get a chance to work on my balance and slow speed control. It's a WIN/WIN!
They learned on much different terrain. This is a video where they learned how to tackle more advanced terrain. They LOVED it!!!! It is literally their favorite place to ride.
FMC, you are a saint! these girls would be utterly lost without you.
LOL...This is their first year riding. I can't believe how well they've done, but they did stress me a time or two :)

Thanks for the feedback!
I hope at the end of the day everyone had a good time! THAT is the ONLY point ... oh, ... and just being "out there"!
We always have a good time on the bikes!

gotta teach them to roost their friends at the water crossings.
Excellent idea!
Tell them to stand up.
Wow, I didn't know that was even possible. I will let them know!
Not the terrain on which I would suggest one learn how to ride. Everyone has to start somewhere.

those junk bikes make riding more difficult.
Ya, we can't all have perfect bikes. Some of us have to ride the junk bikes to make people like you look better!
Wayne, you are lost, those are the perfect bike for them! Bet they all have a huge smile on there faces!!!
