Video #09, George V 1927 Specimen Set Show and Tell

A continuation into my obsession with Great British Pre Decimal Proof Sets.
This Video is a Show and Tell on the George V 1927 (New Design) Specimen Proof set with additional bonus footage of a George V 1911 Bronze Medal found whilst "Hunting" in an Antique shop as well as a 1970 Proof Set in Envelope with re order paper work purchased at a Car Boot Sale.

Absolutely gorgeous, but the slabs show p for Pence, whereas they should more correctly show d for denarius.

You are correct the Pre Decimal designation was £ S D
