While probably not as legendary as the 200/400 series, I really think these would be light years better than some of the Isuzu Citibus matchboxes that I've seen around in Romania. Second hand Ikarus E95 and Solaris Urbino 10 would have been better choices all around if the bus companies wanted small 10m buses. Those Isuzu were literally gutless wonders, they had almost inexistent suspension, were so loud that they'd rival an worn out Raba engine, and to top that, from all the 10-20 units that were in service here, NONE managed to survive. All broke down with unfixable issues and had to be scrapped on the spot they were left on in the garage. We had DAC 112 UDMs, Karosa B952E, Mercedes Conecto O345 (the rounded one-window faced variant), and Iveco/Irisbus Crossway LE. From those, the first two were scrapped (bar two B952Es - one is a convention bus for workers at a meat factory and the other was sold to somebody else), the O345s still run (albeit they're really loud, though they're a delight to listen to, unlike some other brands I know), and finally, the Irisbus LE are the newest. We had a run of O405Ns as well but most of those went to another city after just a year of service.
